David and his son came for 2 days to "demo floor and shreetrock NECESSARY to install plumbing and grab bars" pursuant with his contract. His demo was cutting 3 holes in the shreetrock because he maintained that It was all that was "NECESSARY". Every other quote took down to the studs. Don't trust his assessment of necessary, or general contracting ability. he paid him. The plumbing subcontractor put 6-90 deg turns in water pipe in 10 inches effectively reducing water pressure dramatically, and he paid him. The blocking for the grab bar was a 6"x9 piece of scrap wood secured by 6 screws into the shreetrock. The grab bar has a 500# test strength. He said "don't worry it will hold the weight of a falling person". My wife has parkinson's and falls a lot. I fired him and him $2800 for the work all which I had to have redone. Steve Newport, RI
