Wickford Appliance is a family-owned discount Appliance and Lighting store based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island at 207 Newport Avenue with a second location in North Kingstown, Rhode Island at 8236 Post Road. Since 1958, Wickford Appliance has served customers in Rhode Island and surrounding Massachusetts and Connecticut cities and towns with low prices on appliances and lighting products as well as appliance repair services combined with top-notch customer service.

Had you had issues with your plumbing previously with the pre-existing Washer/Dryer in the space (if applicable) prior to your new Miele's being delivered? I called Wickford Appliance because I believed that they would know what they're doing, that they would give me an informed estimate of what it would take to fix the dryer, that they would have necessary parts available or they would be able to expedite their acquisition of any parts, and that they would treat me well.
I have to say they did treat me well. The people I talked with on the phone and the techs who came out to my home were courteous and punctual. If it did not take so long, I would have been very happy.

It is surely not our policy to have simple repairs span such a long period of time, nor is it common that the parts we order have to be re-ordered as many times as it sounds they were with your repair. If you'd be willing to speak with us further about the experience you had -- what was the model of the Amana dryer which was eventually restored to working condition, and what part was it that needed to be replaced? (If you don't have that information we'd be happy to check our records of your service request to investigate further).
