Tammy was very professional on the phone and did a great job setting
up the appointment for the repair person.
The work was for the repair person to come over and fix a very
loud humming sound coming from my brand new Frigidaire
refrigerator, but the noise does not happen all the time so I had to record the
humming on my cell phone for them to hear in case it was not making the humming
sound when they arrived.
Service person showed up with an attitude due to directions given
to him by is office (not our fault) and then went on to tell me because he
could not hear the humming sound he could not fix anything, he HAD to hear the
sound. I proceeded to tell him several times that I recorded the sound on my
cell phone and that I knew exactly where it was coming from, he refused to
listen to the recording or anything I had to say for that matter. He?s supposed
to be a professional. All he did was write us a bill for $70.00 and said when I
heard the humming again to give them a call. I was shocked that this service
person (Steve) was treating a customer in such a poor manner. He did not even
open a door or make any effort; he was at our home for a total of about 2
minutes.
Would not utilize them ever again

Steve came within time frame stated .He responded to all of my question had to order panel and informed us when part came in and showed us how we could temporarily operate washer with defective part. When the panel came in within a few days, replaced effectively. Well pleased with service from first call to Tammy, to professional response by Steve. We would utilize them again and have.

Christmas morning the wife was heating up a casserole in the oven to bring to her son's house. After a while there was an arcing sound and big orange flash, from the control head section of the range, and a burnt plastic smell. Glad we weren't hosting Christmas dinner!
Tom was friendly and efficient. He explained what he was doing re: the recall retrofit and replaced the bad clock/control unit in about a half hour's time. He was also neat and careful; he placed his tools down on a mat to protect the tile floor in our kitchen.
Given the time of year this happened, we felt fortunate to get the repairs done on January 2nd. Understandably, we couldn't get someone in right after Christmas. That's the only thing that would have made this experience absolutely stellar. But, even service providers get some time off during the holidays, so 8-day delay notwithstanding, we were very satisfied.

We have used them a couple of times. It was probably about $60.00 for them to come out. Their repair costs are reasonable. They had been repairing our stove so many times we finally bought a new one. We spent twice as much on it as a new one would have cost. We had a good experience with them.

When he fixed it, it lasted a good while but then we ended up getting a new one. It went very well, he was responsive, and he was reasonable in his fees. I hope by now he's going to Weight Watchers because I thought I was going to have to pull him out of some tight spots for a while.

Repairman arrived right on time, confirmed that the problem was as I had described, worked carefully and quickly to repair the door. He was neat, courteous and appeared to be highly qualified to do this sort of work.

Our new room air conditioner was not cooling (still under warranty). At the time of the service call, it "was" now cooling. Tom gave me a couple of things to check and asked me to get back to him with more details. When I got back to Tom, the diagnoses was that the compressor wasn't working. He checked with Frigidare for us about the warranty repair. In the long run, it was more advantageous for us just to return the unit. I would highly recommend New England Appliance Repair.

Customer service from scheduler/dispatcher Tammy was great. Steve did a good job and discussed my options with me. My appliances are very old, so we talked about what repairs are worth doing considering the value to the appliances. I appreciate his frankness.

Ironically, I joined Angie's list to avoid dealing with a company like this. The technician came to my home early in the morning on a Wednesday, figured out the problem and promised to call back that day with a quote. Didn't receive a call that night. Noticed on the invoice that they wrote my phone number down wrong. Called them back to give them my correct number. No call Thursday. Called them on Friday to ask about the quote, they promised the technician would call me. No call. Monday came, and no call, so I called them back. The receptionist said the technician would DEFINATELY call me that day. No call that Monday, no call Tuesday. If there was a problem finding a part, fine, let me know so at least I know some work is at least being attempted. If a service company can't offer customer-service, they won't get my business or any of my colleagues business. Bush league operation. The receptionist was friendly,

He showed up on time. He fixed my dishwasher that wasn't draining and wasn't anchored properly, and my dryer that had a loose connection that caused it not to shut off when the door was opened. He completed the repairs promptly and charged a fair price.

The repairman was on time, extremely friendly and polite (my cat liked him too), and he explained everything he was doing as he did it. He knew exactly what questions to ask to diagnose the problem, which was because the installer failed to remove the plug from the garbage disposal where the water was supposed to empty. It was diagnosed and fixed within 15 minutes. I will call them again for any appliance problems I have.

My initial description pretty much says it all. Once again, I am very satisfied with this company's performance and always call them first if I need service. I have a service contract on my appliances and when I call in for a repair, I specifically request this company.

Absolutely wonderful. Even though the source of the leak was not discovered, Tom told me that if it happens again that I should call immediately and he would be back and that he has all of the parts in his truck so that it could be fixed immediately (whatever "it" is).

Came promptly, took time to figure out what was going on. The replacement part needed to be ordered, which took a little longer than expected but once it came in they called and scheduled another visit. The work was done quickly and well. Both service people were extremely nice.

The temperature on my oven was fluctuating a lot and New England Appliance came a day after I called. He adjusted the spring and it does seem a bit better but I think it is time for a new stove. This was not the fault of the service people. I think they did the best they could. I do recommend their services even though the price was a bit high.

I WAS HAPPY IT WAS SO EASY TO USE THIS COMPANY. I GAVE THEM A CALL AND THEY CAME THE NEXT DAY. HE EVEN CALLED ME TO ASK IF HE COULD COME EARLIER. HE HAD THE PART WITH HIM. I DID CALL ANOTHER PLACE TO COMPARE PRICES AND THIS COMPANY WAS CHEAPER.
