LAKESIDE SWIMMING POOL & SUPL

Frank, Ray and their crew are top notch. Super hard working. We had a pool installed by a company during Covid and it caved in the following spring. The company would not return our calls or do anything to help us. That being said, we called Lakeside pools and they came and helped us. We called numerous companies and got very high quotes. Lakeside was by far the best, quality-wise and price for what you get. Being a family-run business that has been around for many years you can tell they take pride in what they do for their customers. We highly recommend LAKESIDE POOLS for your next pool installation you won’t be disappointed.

Buyer beware. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for a liner. This company has had our money since March. Our liner was supposed to have been completed in April. We are mid June and we continue to have our date pushed back. They never call or provide an update. We constantly have to chase them down. Every week they tell us that we are next on the list. This has been happening for months. Their newest story as to why they can't get to us is because they ran into a ledge issue, which is the same story we were told in May. Karen at the front desk told us they have customers from last year (2023) that have not had their liners installed yet. Absolutely the worst most chaotic customer service you can imagine. Go anywhere else.

We are now nine months into the pool build (should have taken 3 weeks but tons of mistakes were made) and Lakeside has abandoned the job we paid for leaving us with uneven concrete walls, a leaking wrinkled liner, air in our returns, a pipe losing air pressure, no safety cover, a crooked diving board, a pool that is excessively out of the ground and will require retaining walls on all 4 sides (picture a half buried above ground pool in the middle of a soccer field), equipment set up in a ditch, unstable ladder and handrail, and no pump. Lakeside does not return emails or calls and have left us with a death trap in our backyard this winter. My mission is to save other families from experiencing the **** this company has put mine through. Don’t trust a word they say. They are thieves; they stole our pump and took money for services never rendered and products never received. Their employee admitted to me in front of the owner, Frank, that they are instructed to lie to customers. This employee has been there 18 years. The concrete guy that screwed up the walls (forgot a 6” form leading to my pool being crooked and built walls that vary in height by almost 2”) was with them 8 years. Being in business for 50 years does not mean they are a good company. Their workmanship sucks! Frank admitted they made huge mistakes on a second pool last spring too. There was no foreman on site for most of my install. I was told by Steven and then Frank that they would supervise the initial install and then the subsequent repairs, however, they were rarely on site for either. I never knew when people would show up in my backyard or who they were. Random employees were sent to make the repairs which made me very uncomfortable with 3 children at home. Run away from this company. I trusted them when they said they would make things right, but they never did. They did half *** repairs (installed a new, still wrinkly liner in 30 degree temps when I told them not to that is now leaking, started to fix things but never finished). This has been a very expensive and heart breaking experience for my family. A pool was a lifelong dream for us but now it’s a nightmare that keeps me awake. I have plenty of pictures and emails to show why you should RUN AWAY from this company.

It was an overall stupendous experience.  They did a perfect job, and we have zero complaints.  Their guys were professional, clean, and kept the yard/site clean.  I can't stand when people do work on our home and it looks like a hurricane blew through - not the case with these guys.  They even swept the street up after the equipment.  From breaking ground to swimming they were in and out in two weeks.  I think it could have been completed sooner if the inspectors didn't take their time. 

I had them put in an in-ground pool back in 2000. It seemed to take longer than you'd think but it was done well. Since then I have found other sources of pool supplies as Lakeside is just ridiculous with theirs. I'm only writing this review because I strongly believe the should not have a perfect rating.

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY SINCE THEY BUILT THE POOL. THEY DO SUCH A GOOD JOB ON THE POOL, WE KEEP USING THEM FOR THEIR MAINTENANCE. THEY ARE RESPONSIVE AND PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
