I had a wonderful experience with Tom Ricci, owner of American Building Co, whom I found through Angie’s List. He responded to my request for a mason right away, arrived exactly when we had agreed, and clearly explained the work that needed to be done. He sent me a detailed quote that same evening and completed the job effortlessly. His craftsmanship was truly impressive, and the finished result—repairs to my front steps—was impeccable. Tom is also incredibly versatile in his knowledge; he’s a true jack of all trades. I highly recommend him!

Tom was totally professional, friendly, informative, punctual, and thorough. We had an interior brick wall that was spalling (from moisture on the exterior). He and his sons ground and mortared it and it's fabulous! They repaired the interior and exterior brick work of the house, so it does not happen again. They worked quickly and cleaned up everything. They even constructed an indoor cave to work in, to trap any brick dust from spreading around the house. Tom also had the best prices, and I got five estimates. I recommend him 100%!

Tom was very punctual, his work was top notch and he cleaned up before he left leaving everything perfect. Would not hesitate to hire him again.

Tom did a great job explaining what he would be able to do for my chimney, what he recommended, I hired him and he did exactly what he said he would and the timing of the project was spot on, he finished when he said he would be done (which was important because I had roofers coming to work after the chimney was finished) I would hire him again for additional work.

Tom called me immediately after I posted that work had to be done. He set up a meeting with me the following day to review the work and give me a quote. Tom was knowledgeable and gave several suggestions about the windows that needed to be replaced. The quote was fair and he started the work the following week. I added an extra window to the job which was ordered and there was a wait time. Tom kept me informed throughout the process and worked around my schedule. He did several "extras" that he noticed while he was working at the house. He pointed the work out and asked if I'd like to have it done. Super nice guy and takes pride in his work which was 100%. I would definitely call him again if I need work done. I highly recommend American Building Company
