+ 10 moreChris has worked for me in the past. He explains all work in advance, including helpful suggestions on improvements he thinks could be made. He then gives a very thorough estimate (much of which I included above). He comes on time, has a very professional crew, and completes the work on time and within budget. He and his crew are professional, respectful, AND NEAT!!! They left my house cleaner than they found it. I was having work done in my tenant's apartment, so his timeliness and neatness were very important!
Description of Work: Cleaned entire basement area of dust and debris. Removed all unwanted materials and washed basement floor. Reworked old washer plumbing to clear area of defunct and unnecessary pipes. Painted all perimeter walls of basement with white cement paint. Demolished existing ceiling in tenant's bedroom, and installed new sheetrock, which was primed and top coated with 2 coats of flat white ceiling paint. Bedroom walls were primed and painted. A new central ceiling light fixture was installed to the bedroom including new switch in wall near hall entrance door. Existing trim and casing of the washer closet was removed. Washer closet opening was rewqorked to make wider with new framing and trim. Sheetrock was replaced as needed to build new washer closet. New bifold doors were installed. Water supply was repositioned and waste for washer was relocated to have access to left wall of the washer Electrical outlet and vent hookup for washer/dryer combo unit were added. All new work and adjacent hall walls were painted.
