They did a good job. No complaints about that. He went beyond the call of duty. I have a lot of steps in the front walk and there is a retaining wall. It wasn't too bad, but he replaced the retaining wall as well. That was a big job and he did a very good job with that.

Very easy to deal with. Very responsive and work was done in a timely manner. I highly recommend them.

We want all the details! Joe did a wonderful job. First off, I called him and he came right away to assess the job. He returned the next day with his son to help him to do the job, which he thought would take two days. The two of them were able to get it done in just a few hours. They were careful not to ruin my lawn. They took huge stones away that I had no use for. They cleaned up everything when they were done. I could not have been more pleased with the job they did. Prior to this I had called people to come see the wall, give me a quote, etc. Most did not return my calls and none of them came to fix it. The only one who did come and look at the wall, never returned as he said he would, to give me a quote and show me pictures of his work. It was very discouraging - so when Joe came right away and did such a tremendous job, I was thrilled. They were courteous, polite, efficient and helpful beyond my expectations. He was prompt and efficient. I liked his work so much I had him build a small brick patio to barbecue on.

My Dad's front steps are all brick-work with blue stone top caps on either side. Some of the mortar was coming loose on the top 2 steps and many bricks were spalling or breaking apart.. The bottom 2 steps had been repaired/repointed more than 10 years prior and were still in good shape. We considered having all the brick work removed and replaced with stone and bluestone treads, however, we liked the brick and wanted to maintain the look. The owner of Hall Masonry had extensive experience with brick work, which is not always the case with many "masons" these days. He came out promptly to inspect the area and provided an estimate for the work. He could not schedule the work right away, but came back when he said he would and completed the work. Replacing all the bricks in the 2 steps required matching the color which he did very well. He also sloped the steps slightly to help water run off, instead of puddling on the steps. We are happy with the work and the price was reasonable. We would highly recommend Hall Masonry.
