Wow. I really should have checked Angie's List for a better company. Our furnace went out yesterday and I ruled out the easy stuff so couldn't figure out what the issue was. We called around but they were one of the few that were actually opened on a Sunday. Anyways, the guy that came was nice enough and did what he needed by troublshooting the problem. He figured it out in about an hour and then started to quote us on replacement parts. He explain to me the problem and what I would need. At this point I was familar with the parts and knew it couldn't be that expensive. Once he handed me the quote, I was shocked. He was charging me 700 dollars for two cheap parts and a VERY simple install. So simple a 6 year could do it. So I said I'll look online for the parts and do it myself. He then said that was NO way I could find this one part. I said I will be okay. Anyways, I ended up looking online and getting both parts online for under 100 dollars. It will take me 5 minutes to install them. Never will I go with this company. They were trying to scam me into paying WAY more then they should have.
