Showed up on time and were incredibly professional. They were able to work around and some problem areas that other electricians weren't able to figure out a solution to.

He gave us a detailed and accurately described proposal of the numerous changes he would make, based on what we had talked about in the initial meeting, and completed it all.  He always returned calls by the next day, and his men arrived on time.  His price was a little less than the other estimate I was able to get.

The only drawback was that in adding outlets in the workshop, his guy put all the basement circuits together, which affected our computer there.  When we brought this up, he sent his guy to separate the circuits at no charge, saying he guarantees his work.

Work was done very efficiently in about 6 hours.

My electricity went half out then completely out. They scheduled the
appointment, confirmed when they were on their way, and arrived
promptly. They immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it.

Chris Electric has been wonderful about showing up on time, giving reasonable estimates and doing quality work. I have not had any issues with their service.

I had flickering power in part of my house for several weeks and finally lost power completely in three rooms. I called Chris Electric and he came at my requested time and date. While there for the problem described above i also had him check an outside flood light that was not working completely. His first guess as to the problem of the flickering/lost power in the three rooms was correct and he fixed that problem. He said he'd have to buy some parts to fix the flood light situation. The flood light wasn't a priority for me so I declined any service and told him all I wanted done was the breakers. He replaced two breakers and was in and out in an hour, no charge for troubleshooting the floodlight. This is the second time I've used Chris Electric and have been very satisfied both times.

The heating unit in my bathroom fan was not functioning and was repaired with a simple adjustment. A new switch was installed tand line were installed in my older house where no switch had been. The house is almost 100 years old and the electrician treated the work in a most professional manner.

Chris Electric did a fantastic job for me. The work was scheduled one week after I accepted the proposal. In the meantime, Chris ordered all the parts. The workers arrived a little after 8AM, shut the electricity off, and proceeded to remove and mark the meters and then removed the old fuse boxes, marking the lines. It looked like a spaghetti factory. The outside service line was removed and replaced, and 4 new meters were installed on the outside. Always having my meters on the inside, I was concerned it wouldn't look all that great to have them on the outside of a historic house, but I'm quite pleased with the way they came out. Very neat and tidy. It looks a lot better than I thought it would.

Inside, the new circuit breaker boxes were installed on the same plywood mounting board and frame that the old fuse boxes were on (the only thing that wasn't changed), all the lines were run to the proper panels, and the the electricity was turned back on by 2PM - just the time Chris said it would be. TOTALLY PAINLESS!! I couldn't believe how huge the job seemed, yet how quickly they worked...and NEATLY! Where necessary, new wires were neatly installed along existing runs to the proper panel. Inside and outside areas were cleaned up, individual lines and meters were identified (inside and out), and the city inspector came the next day and approved it all.

I am overjoyed with my new service and my new circuit breakers and am pleased to highly recommend Chris Electric!

Rewiring was mostly completed when a building inspector cited an overlooked requirement for heat shields in some ceiling lighting fixtures. We had to delay sheetrocking the ceilingfor about a week until these heat shields were in place. The electrician grumbled about this requirement complaining that it was not an electrical deficiency because the building (not electrical) inspector cited them. When they arrived, the heat shields were small boxes of cheap fabrication made by gluing some glass wool panels into the shape of an open ended box. For these we were charged $100. apiece, several times the price of the fixtures they covered. ..... actual installation time, about 20 minutes, consisted of dropping the boxes over the fixtures while the ceiling was open. For this we were billed an hour at master electrician rates plus travel expenses to our destination (about 10 minutes away).

I feel that the delays and charges were well in excess of what was reasonable for this service.

I have been using their services about eight years. Other than the bill, things went fine. They came on time, cleaned up after and they answered all of my questions.

This was a good company to use for the final quality of work they did. They were very hard to get a hold of and they would never return our phone calls. If you wanted to get in contact with them, you had to call them before 8:00 a.m. in the morning. The people we dealt with were very friendly. There was one day that they did show up late. The final product ended up turning out exactly as we hoped. They finally did a good job on our project.

CHRIS ACTUALLY CAME IN AND DID THE WORK HIMSELF INSTEAD OF HIS EMPLOYEES. I USUALLY REFER HIM TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS. HE IS SUCH A NICE AND POLITE MAN.
