Premier Toyota of Newport

For automobile  we use the dealer where we bought our cars.  They are Premier Toyota of Newport.  I was there last Saturday.  There work is an A.  They could be a little bit better at time estimates and we've had a little issue with buying a service contract for another car and not having it go through properly so I'm keeping down from that a little bit. 

My biggest issue with this establishment is it is very hard to get a hold of anyone in the service dept. No one answers the phone in this dept. The phone rings, but goes to voicemail. Great I know most people have their cell phones attached to their bodies, but what about those of us who don't. I work at a location that does not allow me to have a personal cell phone on me. I also am away from my desk often. I ended up having to go in to set-up an appt. The car was inspected and I had some things fail so in order to pass inspection I needed to have a few things done. I fixed them on my own and was told I could make another appt. to get it inspected. Guess what I had to go in again to have another appt. done. They couldn't look at my car to make sure I had cleaned the cloudy residue off my headlights or to see if I got new tires. When I had left my first appt. they had run all of the other tests and my car had passed. So another appt. was set-up. Guess what they put my car through the whole inspection again even though it had been documented it had passed everything else. So another 45 minutes and my car was ready to go. Definitely not satisfactory in my book. FIX THE PHONE SySTEM PLEASE!

I like them a lot. They take good care of my car. They're very professional and punctual. They also don't keep you waiting too long in the waiting room for the car unless something is wrong with the car or something unexpected is going on.

They're fine. It's expensive for an oil change but they do a complete check-up, air pressure, look at you brakes and some. They are all very polite and nice people. They have had done some work covered by the warranty and felt I was treated fairly. Dealership are expensive place to get car services. They use real Toyota parts. They kept my car overnight and got it the next day but I'm also a pain in the neck because I never make an appointment, I just drive in so they tolerate that pretty well. One thing about their shop is that, their floor is painted and they clean it, well lit, roomy and absolutely spotless because they clean it every night. It's pretty amazing for a repair facility.

The body repair was great. They contacted the original insurance appraiser and had him come in so they could re-appraise for hidden damage. They took care of all adjustments with the insurance co. They gave me 10% off on my %500 deductable. As far as mechanical repair could have been better, it appears they shorted out one of my headlamps blowing the fuse and deglected to tell me when i picked up the car (they replaced the bulb but not the fuse). I only discovered this next day when i used the headlights. But they were very pro-active to correct this and took me right away w/out a new appointment. THen i discovered they did not reconnect one of my mirror heater wires so i had to bring in again to get that fixed, but again no appintment and got right to it. they are very dedicated to customer service and very pleasant to deal with. I would use them again for sure (as long as insurance is paying).

The service personnel were very polite and professional. However, I do feel that their prices were very high - which is the only thing that would deter me from returning to them.
