Jiffy Lube

I do not know much about cars and how they run, but i have had oil changes before and have never had to pay this much for one. Granted I didn't have to make an appointment and they took my car in right away and asked me what I wanted. I told them just an oil change and they didn't ask me anything further and got to work. about five minutes later they were calling me out into the garage and telling asking me if there was anything else I wanted done to the car. I told them no and they told me that I needed to get the coolant in my car replaced. I knew this was a lie because I had just had it done. I told him no thank you, yet he continued to push the topic, telling me that if they didn't do it, it would be dangerous and my car would overheat. I politely rejected again, and when he tried to push it again, I forcefully told him. Only then did he stop pushing the coolant topic... but then started pushing for me to get new windshield wipers! I was thinking about getting new windshield wipers, but i was going to buy them and put them on myself to save the extra $15 that it would have cost to have them put them on. I said no thank you, and when he tried to push it again, I cut him off and said no, and that the only thing that I was there for was to get my oil changed. I wasn't going to have this conversation again. He finally realized that I wasn't going to accept anything else, and sent me back to the waiting room. They finished and came back to ring me out, and told me the total was practically 80 bucks! When I asked why, he told me a bunch of mumbo jumbo about how my car needed this particular type of oil that is more expensive. I was furious. I told him that I have had plenty of oil changes and no one had ever needed to use a special type of oil. I proceeded to ask why he didn't tell me when he was badgering me to get more work done. He gave me some lame excuse about how he thought that I would know and blah blah blah. At that point I wasn't even listening anymore. The work had been done so I had no choice but to pay for it. I have not been there since, and do not plan on ever going back.  Oh and I never did get my coolant changed and my car runs perfectly.
