Dr. Jones has taught piano to our four children (ages 8 to 20), and he is an incredibly passionate, talented, and thoughtful teacher who holds his students to a high standard and gets amazing results. Even though our children possess just average/normal musical ability, he had our children playing pieces from Bach and other classical composers just beautifully and sounding quite accomplished. Dr. Jones taught our children more than just piano; he taught them dedication, perseverance, and confidence to perform during recitals and Guilds. Dr. Jones has taught piano to at least five other families that I can think of, which are friends of my family, and their children were very long term students of Dr. Jones, too. Our eight year old son just started taking lessons. He wants to practice all the time, and he especially likes how nice Dr. Jones is to him. I would definitely recommend Dr. Jones!

We enjoy seeing his lovingly restored Victrolas, and learning the history of the Victor Talking Machine Company from the 1920--30's.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons, with Dr. Jones, for five years. She really enjoyed it. He is very professional and knowledgeable and he is great with children, in all levels. What my wife and I also appreciate that Dr. Jones is always willing to accommodate our busy schedule. I would recommend Dr. Jones to anyone, if you are looking for a great music teacher.
