Ask about pricing before scheduling service. I did not, and no info was offered. My problem was lack of heat (in winter) due to furnace tripping the breaker. A heating tech was sent. He replaced a heat sequencer. About 30 minutes after the tech left, the breaker tripped again. A few hours later Jestings sent an electrician who determined the breaker was "burned" and needed replacement. The electrician did not have a breaker with him and said he would put in a temporary one and return with the correct breaker. He came the next day an replaced the breaker. I was charged $90 in labor for each of the three calls, totalling $270 just for the labor. I questioned why I was being charged twice for the breaker replacement as these might routinely be carried on the truck, especially when the call concerns a potentially bad breaker. (I was told their electricians don't carry anything on the truck.) If they had asked, I could easily have opened the electrical box and communicated the number over the phone. Or texted a picture. It seems to me this third visit was a manufactured and unnecessary one. I was very disappointed in their policy but my fault for not asking, I guess. Service was provided within 6 hours. Office staff was responsive and courteous over the phone. This was somewhat of an emergency so I am grateful that Jestings came to my aid and managed to fix the problem.

He did discuss installing a generator with propane company. He failed to provide a quote for me and I never heard from him after discussing with the propane provider. I called them twice saying I need a bid and never heard back from them at all.

They replaced two fans for me, one in each of the bathroom. They were very reasonable. They got back to me immediately. Their office is very close to my house. They gave me an estimate and went back. They came and did the job next day.

My front porch outlet shorted out, taking with it the porch lights and doorbell. Resetting the breaker didn't work. Jestings' servicemen traced through and disentangled a jumbled junction box, restoring all functions, as well as safety, and explained everything they were finding and doing in the process. Excellent service, as always. This are really good folks - I'll always call them.

My furnace guy noted he detected electrical back feed in a metal duct coming from the basement. The Jestings serviceman, Ray, traced out several circuits in the basement of my 160-year-old house, identified where he thought the problem was, and also pointed out several junctions that were totally chaotic. With my OK, he sorted everything out quickly and efficiently and made sure that I understood what he had done and why. I'm very pleased and will definitely call Jestings again.

Two guys came out and answered all my questions. We have an older home and are doing remodeling job soon and these guys were very informative and courteous. The only thing that I didn't like was that they charged $80 just to come and then much more than I expected for the outlet. They charged by the hour and stood around talking and charged me for all that time. The quality of their work is very good but a little to high in price for me. I don't think that I will be using them again.

Very good experience, friendly showed up on time. Cleaned up after themselves, they were not in a hurry and did more work than I had actually called for. I will be calling them again. Have not received a bill yet.

I REALLY FEEL THAT THEY ARE A VERY PROFESSIONAL COMPANY. THEY DID A GOOD JOB AND WERE COURTEOUS AND FRIENDLY. THE PRICE WAS FAIR FOR THE JOB THAT THEY DID. THEY ALSO NEVER LEFT ANY MESS AT ALL FOR ME TO CLEAN UP.

WE HIRED THEM TO REPAIR THE WORK DONE BY A DIFFERENT ELECTRICIAN. HE LISTENED TO WHAT WE WANTED AND THEN WORKED TO REPAIR EVERYTHING THAT WE NEEDED DONE. I WILL CALL HIM FIRST NEXT TIME.
