He provided weekly picture updates, and was always available via phone or text when I had a question.  He has since also performed other smaller repairs such as updating a bathroom and basement.  I totally trust him and his team.

His estimate was lower than the other two that I received, so I was a bit worried about what the quality of his team's work would be, but it turned out amazing. Before we started, he took us on driving tour in the area to see other projects of his. His estimate included a line by line breakdown of where my money was going, and any unanticipated costs were discussed and approved prior to incurring them. He had some GREAT suggestions and the team of subs that he used were all friendly, reliable, and kept the house clean. He worked well from the plans that I had had a designer draw up, and worked with the town and the neighbors to try to keep everyone happy.

He was extremely responsive, including mostly via email when he was on the job site. His willingness to go the extra mile was also very helpful. (For example, the tv mount we had bought didn't fit and he said, and quot;Would you like to pick out a new one or have my guys just go get it?and quot;)

He has worked building new homes and doing renovations large and small in the neighborhood (Middletown, Newport) for over 20 years and it shows. I've told him that he should definitely use our new home for his future prospective client tours.
