We had planned to install a quartz countertop, and needed a general contractor's advice and maybe aid in removing our present formica countertop. Anthony came over to take a look, and agreed with us that our countertop would be very difficult to remove--also that in the process we might damage the cabinetry below. We decided not to take this risk, and to go instead with a new formica overlay. Although the formica would not involve much $$, Anthony did not abandon us. He quickly found us an experienced workman to lay down the new formica, and these guys are no longer easy to find. This one was also experienced with plumbing and could take care of disconnecting and reconnecting the sink. First, Anthony picked up the formica for us in Cranston--a big help. Next, the installer got to work right away and did an excellent job. Anthony stopped in several times to make sure the work was going well. There was one glitch, and he made sure that the installer fixed it by the next week. Then Anthony came by an additional time to glue down a trim between the countertop and backsplash, as he had originally promised. We were very happy with the all work and with the price, Both Anthony and the installer were professional, friendly, and reliable. I would recommend either of them to any friend.

The work was performed unproffsionally. It was the quality of the work that is the matter. Railing installed with gaps as well as not being properly being secured. I have photos to back my claim. I purchased the material. I gave AIG 1500.00 up front but stopped his further work due to his less knowledge the first portion. His mistakes causing me 103.00 extra due to his un knowledge and casing replacement of material. Holding receipts plus material on hand at a lumber yard. I feel he performed only 400.00 worth of work and caused another 100.00 in repurchasing material. I feel I should be refunded $1000.00 for these actions. On 8/26 he took a photo on Angie's List even though the work is not complete. What should I do in order to get funds refunded? I feel he is not a professional as he states. I have witnesses to the matter as well.
