Prestige Floors

Very, very distressing. On August 31, 2020 Freddy & Matt came to give an estimate on refinishing my floors. I met them outside, mask on. They approached with no masks, I thought the masks must be in their pockets as we were still outside. As they got close I asked them to please put on masks before going in. The older man (30s? 40s?) said, "We don't wear masks - it's all a hoax." He continued walking past me towards the house, and then said the death rate was no worse than the flu (which stopped being true months ago), that "covid" stands for the common cold, and that I should "look it up on the internet and stop believing fake news". I told him my son is an ER doctor who is seeing the suffering and death daily, it's absolutely not a hoax. I told them not to go in the house and I wasn't hiring them. I was really shocked by this encounter. Not only that someone could be so blindly misinformed (especially in this part of the country, where most people are being safe) but also what a ludicrous business practice! What about being respectful? What about "The customer is always right" ? His attitude lost him a lucrative contact. Hopefully it won't also lose him his life or the life of another person. I believe his company should immediately be removed from your List.
