Do not use Wood and Wire. The owner is a dishonest jerk and crook!!

I purchased roughly $1800 of fencing material from Wood and Wire and paid an additional $750 for them to install the front section only. This section consisted of two 8’ panels and a 4’ gate. They arrived on time, the Forman was not a people person, very intimidating and constantly talking down to us, acting as if he was doing us a favor. Once they completed the job, the Forman gave me the walk through. I made mention to him that the fence did not look right, and he said that it would “settle”. The fence was installed crooked, none of the 4 posts are straight, they are either shifted front to back or left to right. the decorative lattice top pieces are not properly installed, the hinges are not square with the fence post, the handle is not centered on the panel, and there is a screw from the handle sticking through the interior section of the fence. I contacted the company regarding the above issues, and they offered me a $20 refund, however we would in turn need to give up our 3-year warranty. We opened a case with our Credit Card company, but ultimately lost because I signed the paper saying the work was complete, even though on his job summery report he circled that we were not satisfied. If you do decide to purchase form them, do yourself a favor and either install it yourself or hire a contractor. See attached photos of their installation job.

They took a while to get it on their schedule but everything was great after that.

The estimator was prompt and professional. Bob and Byron, the crew who did our installation, were experienced and did the job right and in a timely manner. We were completely happy with the work. We recommend this company to anyone looking to put in a fence.

This company provided a remarkable value. First the estimator was very professional and provided a price 30% below the next best estimate. The quality of the fencing panels was first rate. The work was completed on time. The professional installers did a terrific job of installation in a few hours AND cleaned up the area after the job. Even going so far as to rake smooth the pre-grass seeding area disturbed by the post digging. You can't ask for more than top quality for a good price!

The estimator sales person was very responsive,, new his product, was onetime for the appointment. I did wait about 3-4 weeks foe the face to be installed But this was not a real issue. The installation crew was great went right to work review he print with me and had the entire job completed n about 3 days. They work from start to finish t complete the project. the installation looks, clean, neat and professional. However, I am not see the actual fencing product is of the best quality available. Time will tell as I see How the product hole up over 5,10,15 years. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend wood and wire to do work and I would most likely use them again

We originally had Mark out to plan the job and he figured out creative ways to give us what we wanted given the limitations of our yard. Wand W has good credit service and we were able to finance the work. The only down side was that we had to drive out to their office to resign the paperwork after we made a small change in the plan. It would have been good to scan and email or the like.
Tiago and Eric came out to install the fencing. They were exactly on time both days. On the first day they set the poles in concrete and let us know of any issues. On the second day they installed the wooden fence and finished the wire fence. Both jobs look fantastic! The team was very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Their price was reasonable and they did a much better job than the previous fence we had put up through another company. They were very professional. They knew exactly what I was talking about and did exactly what I asked. They put in nice quality equipment and didn't seem to cut corners anywhere. They sent out a team that was really very precise in how they arranged the poles that hold the fence. They did a very nice job with our really challenging backyard, which was not flat.

I contacted the company and was pleased with the responsiveness of Mark the sales rep. He was punctual in his arrival for the estimate and did not pressure me for the sale. After looking over the estimate for a few weeks I decided to go forward with the project. I had a minor change and visited the store in Lincoln to discuss the changes and get a new estimate. Up until this point I was very satisfied with the service.
When the fence installation actually started I was surprised by the lack of responsiveness from the company and the installation crew. They started on a Monday and managed to dig the post holes. They left all of their tools and materials and did not return until Friday to finish the job. I tried to contact the scheduler on multiple ocassions and finally received a call back after leaving about 5 messages. For a small job, I expected completion in 1 day... or at least advance notice that materials would be left in y backyard for a week while they were working elsewhere.

They did a fantastic job. They did the installation quickly. The price was reasonable. The workers were respectful. They were prompt. They kept the site clean. They were pretty much the same as their competitors. I needed them to do the work quickly and they did it. I would absolutely use this company again in the future.

Great workers installed a great fence that is almost handmade. These are craftsmen who know their stuff and turnout a superior product. Our home is in the historical Point neighborhood of Newport, RI and the fence lends itself to the historical district and complements the 1839 house. The privacy of our courtyards and gardens is excellent. There is nothing better on the market. I wish I could hire them for our properties in Austin, TX

They came right away to give me an estimate asked what I wanted measured and I picked out the fencing. I had to make a 50% deposit and they told me it would be about 6 weeks and they would call the day before they came to install. They came in 6 weeks, did the installation, but it took a week to come back to finish, the gate had not been finished on time. Overall very good work and service.

Arrangement for a site visit and quote was done within one week of initial contact. After decision to hire them, the installation was scheduled to fit my schedule, and done right on schedule.

They were quick to schedule a time to give us an estimate and the gentleman that gave the estimate was very professional. Got the estimate quickly and followed up with a nice letter. Work was done about 6 weeks after estimate (they told us at estimate it would take that long before fence could be installed). Our old fence was removed and the new poles were put up on day one. About one week later, the fence panels had been cut and the fence was installed. Only problem was one of the workers joked with us that when they removed a tree to put the fence up it fell and hit a neighbors car. Lost one night of sleep trying to figure out whose car it had hit and who was going to pay for it. Turns out, he was pulling our leg in a poorly delivered joke that I didn't find very funny.

The survey and measurements were done promptly and the contract was written up exactly as requested and mailed within about 2 days. After sending 1/2 of the agreed payment, the work was scheduled. Problem 1: Instead of installing 3.5' high chain link, 4' high was installed. It was the only section of about 500' that was NOT 3.5'. I would have thought instead of just doing it, the installer would ring the door bell and ask just in case, that didn't happen. An installer was sent the next day to re-install 3.5' as requested. Problem 2: While replacing the posts, the installer removed the latch that we requested not be touched and replaced it with a cheap ''horse shoe'' latch. Since it was thrown away, an installer came to install a replacement. The replacement was installed on the wrong gate and I ended up doing the work myself to save time and aggravation. Over all, the job site was not cleaned up. Metal shards from the old fence were left in the street and on the sidewalk.
