It went very well. The support is now what needed to be in place, but had not been done by the contractor who sold us the house years ago. Our home is an 18th-century colonial, and the workers went out of their way to make the floorboards look as much as possible like the old wood, even going out to get the old style of nails that matched what we have in the other boards. The enclosure built in front of the fireplace matches the detail in the wood in other parts of the room. Very professional work and attention to detail.

I Was insulted by the install of my shutters that were not even cleaned on the back side . My garage door , some window trim and my front door were sparsely done and will need another coat . Upon final inspection my wife noticed some markings left by the ladders and when pointed out , the problem was addressed . The painter should have seen this !
Had the trim been done properly ,including the doors , the shutters cleaned on the backside and the ladder marks painted without telling them to do it this it would have probably been an A Job . But it wasn't ,so overall I may or may not use them again . I have a light pole out front that was the base color and was not done as well . I had to remind the painter to do my garage door . A lot of little things that add up to my disapproval of some of the work performed . After all we spent including stain over $ 4, 000 dollars and we still have to re-stain to some of the trim / doors . I expected the job to be an A + Job and it wasn't . Overall it was a "B minus" Job . I'm disappointed . . .

Charlie visited me after I contacted him and we discussed the project. He gave me an estimated start time, but ran about a month late getting started. This happens because he is a good guy and clients often ask him to do additional things while on site. He and his men were excellent workers and they did a terrific job. Very hard working, talented men. We are very pleased with the work they did.

The craftsmanship has been extremely good, and the quality has been excellent. They are very reliable, and the price is reasonable. They always show up on time. Some of the people who work there are teachers and do this as extra work, so during the school year sometimes things move a little more slowly, but the quality of work and the reliability make it worth it.
