No Big Deal Floors & Custom Showers

The project went great. We had three different compaines, including Nick, come and give us recommendations and estimates. Not only was Nick the most knowledgable, had great suggestions in helping us to decide, and wasn't pushy in any way (a problem we had experienced with one of the other estimates we has). He was punctual, professional, and even patient with my children who were VERY interested in his work! Nick had to grind down a high spot on our cement floor, install the floating flooring, install trim, and clean it all up. The floor is absolutely gorgeous and we could not be more happy with the work done. I am thrilled to recommend Nick and his work, and should we need another flooring or bathroom project (which we likely will in the near future), I would hire him again without hesitation.

Nick is a solo proprietor and he does all the work himself. I personally prefer it that way - you know who is performing the work and don't have to deal with and quot;he said, she said...and quot;. He is very detail oriented and is conscious about final results. He'll go the extra mile to make his customers happy. He is very accommodating and every time we had issues with what I thought would be a major setback, his response was always and quot;it's no big dealand quot;. He's extremely easy to work. Honesty, respect and professionalism - that's what you can count on getting. I was very satisfied with his work and would hire him for other future projects.

Nick completed three jobs in my home from October 2011 through February 2012. On the first job, Nick was a sub-contractor for a bathroom remodeling job. He built a custom tiled shower, installed a heating system for the floor, and tiled the bathroom floor. He did a great job and the bathroom is beautiful! We are very pleased with the heated floor as well.
The second job consisted of fixing a major problem in our second floor full bathroom which had been renovated two years prior by another contractor. We had a leak where the tile surrounded the tub. It caused several rows of tile to pull away from the wall allowing water to penetrate the wall and leak on the ceiling below. This also caused a mold problem in the walls and ceiling below. Nick diagnosed the problem and replaced several rows of tile and the wallboard. He sealed the tub/shower with the correct grout and put everything back together. The bathroom looks new again and the problem was corrected to perfection!
The third job that Nick completed in my home was a new kitchen backsplash. This was a challenging job. Nick had to cut out the old backsplash without damaging the countertops or cabinets. He had to install new wallboard, then tile. The tile we chose is a new product that requires no grout. The fit had to be exact so that we would see no gaps. Nick completed the job perfectly. It is now the standout feature of our kitchen. We are very pleased with the work - it made our 8 year old kitchen look new again!
Nick is professional, courteous, and meticulous. We would highly recommend him.

I can't say enough good things about Nick. He is truly a craftsman who takes great pride in his work. His meticulous attention to detail produced a quality result of the highest caliber.

The flooring and back splash are just about the best aspects of the kitchen remodel!
