The work was accomplished while I was away from home. When I got home, it was raining and I could see water exiting the downspouts for the first time since Spring. Great work...excellent result...and I'll be calling Express Gutters again for their excellent service. Thank you!!

contractor showed up on the day he promised, did the work, no mess left behind at all- very professional. We were very happy with the work. He actually left a quote for new windows for our barn (which we need but I had not discussed with him) and we will consider it because the work was professional and great to work with.

The owner was quick to respond and they came quicker than I thought considering that we were facing Hurricane Sandy. They came before the storm, did a great job on both the house and the garage. Their price was a little higher than I had thought to pay, but they kept to their estimate and did a good job, which BTW held up throughout that storm.

I called this company in the late morning and they arrived in the afternoon to complete the job. Wonderful, professional service.

Skip called me back very quickly and came by very quickly to do an estimate. He returned to do the work ahead of schedule, which I was very grateful for. He did the two small repairs mentioned without additional charge and answered some questions for me. I don't know how his price compares to others, but I would use him again for his quick response and attention to other aspects of roofing, etc.

I called Express Gutters to ask for an estimate for gutter repair, gutter cleaning and siding pressure washing. Within 15 minutes, Skip called me back and was at my house! He gave my gutters and siding a thorough look over and provided me an estimate of $900 to have everything cleaned and my gutters repaired (in some cases replaced). The price seemed reasonable or maybe slightly high, but Skip's professionalism and knowledgability won me over. I gave him a call back and he told me he could be back on Friday (a few days later) to complete the job. On Friday, he showed up in the morning and he and his worker completed the powerwashing, gutter replacement/repair and cleaning. He also noticed that the trim on my home could use sealing/caulking and came back the next day (Saturday!) to complete the job when everything was dry. Overall, a great experience! Even though $900 may have been a slightly higher price than I would have paid elsewhere, the job was done well, professionally and quickly. Certainly worth a little extra money in my opinion. I am very happy I went with Express Gutters.

As of today, Thursday, August 25, there is a major hurricane (Irene) forecast to hit our area Saturday night or Sunday. I have been meaning to call a company to clean the gutters of my home and garage, but the impending forecast bumped up the need to and quot;urgent.and quot; The house sat vacant for about four years before I bought it about a year and a half ago, so I know the gutters have not been cleaned in a long time.They were filthy. I was also experiencing localized problems with rainwater flow and occasional water coming in one part of the basement.

I called Express Gutters (based on their Angie's List reports) before 9 a.m. Skip returned my call within an hour and I explained my urgency. He visited my home while I was at work, and called me before 2 p.m. with an estimate to clean 400-some feet of gutters. I approved the estimate providing he could do the work before the hurricane. He assured me it would be done by Saturday.

Skip then called me about 5 p.m. and said the job was done; because the forecast is calling for rain tonight and into tomorrow (Friday) ahead of the hurricane, he fit my job in to clean the gutters while they are dry. Wow! I met him and his colleague at the house to inspect the job.

The yard was clean, the loose and disconnected gutters are all securely in place. The partial view from second story windows out onto visible sections of the gutters on the first floor and the garage showed they were well-cleaned of debris.

His final price was $50 less than his estimate. He and his colleague were personable and professional. Skip pointed out a deficiency in one of my chimneys, and a possible problem in the other. He also noted that my gutters are at the end of their life cycle, but I might have a couple of years left on them. To me, his inspection report indicated expertise, yet there was no up-sell pressure. I appreciated that.

All in all, I am very satisfied. Now I have one less thing to worry about with this oncoming storm...

The experience was excellent. They were thorough, neat, and efficient. They recommended an additional cap on the furnace flue, gave me an extimate for its installation, and left me with confidence that the chimney was safe to use (both the furnace flue and the fireplace flue). I was very pleased with the experience and very glad to have located a company "in the neighborhood" with ties to the community.

It is a local company. They were very responsive. They came out and looked. Then, I went away. When I called again, they came out within the day. They did a very good job. Their price was reasonable. Their original bid was twice of what they actually charged.

Not the most responsive company, but they are cheaper than most and use quality materials. We had used them before, and were happy with the work, so called again to do the rest of the house. It took a while to get the estimate. Nothing was written or guaranteed, but they were referred to us by someone and we were happy with prior work so decided to use them again. After contracting them, they had to order parts so it was a 2-3 week wait for the work to be complete. They did a good overall job.

It went well. He had done some work at a house near my parents and so I got his card and called him. He came down and he had excellent communications. We met and he looked at it. He gave me an estimate. He showed up when he said he would and got it done. He didn't require a deposit ahead of time. He did good work.

THEY SHOWED UP SOON AFTER I CALLED AND CLEANED UP THEIR MESS AS SOON AS THEY FINISHED. THEY WERE VERY NICE AND DID A WONDERFUL JOB. THEY HAD VERY GOOD PRICES.
