"In resonse to the comments posted by Member on November 11th 2011 As I explained to Member, this was not a complete renovation, but a re-paint.(A complete renovation entails tearing out sheetrock and rebuilding from the studs out.) This would have eliminated most issues and helped to make the apartment appear to be new construction, which is what they were trying to achieve.I understand that a complete renovation was cost-prohibitive and beyond their budget, and I attempted to explain what was possible within the budget. The builder was responsible for fixing and patching the uneven walls and mouldings. He was also hired to plane the doors and cabinets to remove old build-up and ensure that they close properly. The entire project ran past deadline.We can only paint the completed product once other tradesmen are finished.As the painter,I have no control over other contractors. I returned many times after Member moved into the apartment to touch-up marks on the fresh paint and fix water stains in the bathroom from a water leak they had. I was schocked and dismayed to read Member's comments. I realize that it is sometimes not possible to achieve unrealistic goals, no matter the effort. I wish them the best of luck in their future endeavers."
