POOLS PLUS

Having a Latham 36’x18’x8’ vinyl pool installed. Worst nightmare I’ve ever had to deal with. They are complete s*** and communication is vague at best and non-existent at worst. Be extremely careful with your budget when you deal with them because all you get for the money is the pool kit and kit install all else is out of pocket. The “all else” out of pocket means electrical hook up $3500, permits $500, gas heater hook up $1500, excavation $3500, cleaning equipment $1000 (included equipment by Pools Plus is a vacuum hose and net maybe $50 ?), concrete decking $15000, additional water if needed (which you will need for pool this size) $650, pump shed $400 to cover that unsightly, untreated plywood, $7000 minimum for fence, and whatever additional amount I will need to pay to have the trash hauled off if this job ever gets completed. Just know, you need to add a minimum of $20K but more near $30K to whatever price quote they give you and you will act as the contractor scheduling all subcontractors. You only get a 1 year warranty on the install work, and this includes the vermiculite base which is well known for water permeability damage after only a few years in this area. Every time someone comes to the house regarding this d*** pool I need my checkbook near. My suggestion pay more and get quality without the stress, frustration, and headaches.

the price was very reasonable, they did what they said they would, left progress notes and did it all very punctually. At first they said they'd be able to do all before July 4th, but later could not, but they still took care of things in a timely fashion. Very professional, courteous and prompt. Excellent.les

I can't say enough about Pools Plus. They are wonderful to work with. Kelly and Seth were very professional and the installers were on time, very professional and we could not be happier with the work they performed. They arrived on time and made sure we knew everything they were going to do. There were never any surprises with them. All the details were told to us ahead of time and the work was done quickly and neatly. Excellent company!!!

I worked with Wayne Jr who I found to be professional, responsive and knowledgeable. The follow through was great. The job was completed in a timely manner and the communication was excellent. The pool requires additional work. I will be asking them back to do that as well. It was a pleasure working with such a professional organization.

For years I pondered purchasing a Jacuzzi. I researched many brands and many dealers. I finally decided to make this major purchase and chose Pools Plus Inc of Johnston RI. I dealt with many different people from Pools Plus and all were a pleasure to deal with. My Jacuzzi was delivered on time and placed on my back deck. It arrives shrink wrapped to protect the product during shipping. I received a phone call the afternoon of the delivery from Seth at Pools Plus. They noticed an imperfection in the tub shell that quite honestly I would never have noticed. They told me they would replace the Jacuzzi and while I waited for the new one to arrive, which would be 4-6 weeks, I could use the unit with the shell imperfection. They filled it, balanced it chemically and I was able to use the Jacuzzi the next day. As promised, they replaced the Jacuzzi at no cost to me including the cost for the electrical to be moved and chemical cost. I strongly recommend this organization. They are honest and their service was outstanding. I plan on purchasing a new pool in the spring from them.
