Made an appointment for when the opened on a Saturday. Though they opened about 10 minutes late, the repair took less than hour. New window was fine.

I called for an estimate and Vicky was very nice. I was able to get an appointment the very next day. There price was about half of what Safelite said they would charge. I got an appointment at lunchtime and was told it would take about an hour. Waiting area was nice and comfortable and even offered Fred wifi. Everyone was very nice. I was surprised when my car was done in 45 minutes. I paid, they gave me instructions and my truck was outside waiting for me with the engine running and a nice smelling Altieri air freshener hanging from the mirror. Nice touch! My seat had even been put back to the proper position (I'm 5 feet tall). It was a great experience!

We live in the Newport area but they got such good reviews on Angie's List that we decided to take my daughter's beetle out there to have the windshield fixed. They were so fast! They told us an hour and a half but I don't think it was more than 30 minutes. Then they told us not to go over 55 for 24 hours! Oops! So we took the back roads home and it was a nice drive, and since we expected to have been sitting there for another hour, we still got back home sooner than expected. I would highly recommend this company.

They were very responsive, quickly scheduled in a time when I could get there during lunch. They were done in less than an hour and I had the car back. There is a great little restaurant on the corner to wait at.

They delivered everything they promised. The price, timing and quality of work were all consistent with what they suggested in a phone conversation. I was extremely pleased with every aspect of this service, and would highly recommend them.

I called on a Monday and was able to make an appointment for Wednesday. They indicated BMWs take longer and recommended I leave it (most replacement services are done while you wait). After dropping it off Wednesday morning, I got a call at around 1pm saying it was done. I was not going to be able to pick it up until 5pm so they took by card info over the phone and left the keys and invoice locked in the car. Everying appeared fine on the drive home and, in fact, for the next week or so. However, I started hearing a wistling from the top of the windshield near the roof of the car. It sounded like a window was slightly open. No leaks, just a wind noise. I called Altieri and described the problem. I had to wait 3 days to bring it in. Initially Steve did not believe me (they pressure test the seal after replacement and apparently if you can hear it, you will likely also get wet) but offered to take a test drive. They were pretty slammed so he eventually told me to leave it. A few hours later he called and told me they found a void in the adhesive and repaired the windsheld for free.
Overall you cannot beat the price. They are busy, though, and I feel like another shop that perhpas was not as busy would have taken their time and the problem I encountered would not have happed.

I phoned for an estimate and scheduled immediately, recognizing a good price for the work to be done. The car was taken into the garage at the time scheduled. The repair was completed in 45 min, which was between 15 - 45 min before promised.

I work for a local University that has a large number of different vehicles. We need to keep the vehicles on the road at all times and Altieri Glass is very accomodating of our needs..I can call and get the vehicles in within a day or two at most. They can handle just about anything you can drive. The work is done very professionally and in a timely manner. As with any business, we need to keep cost sdown and Altieri Glass is very competitive in that regard. We are very happy with the quality of the work, the cost of the services and the professionalism of the owners and staff. It is pleasure to do business with them on a continuing basis. ..

After comparing prices with many other places, they beat competitors by almost half!

Inquiry Phone Call: Very friendly on the phone and responsive to my requests for quick service on the vehicle - they were able to get me in first thing in the morning the following day.
Efficiency: I arrived for my appointment right when they opened and the staff were ready. The job was completed in about 2 hours - but probably even less. I had anticipated waiting much longer for the vehicle as there were several early appointments waiting with me as well.
Cost: Their cost estimate was exactly what they said it would be. I had initially called my auto insurance to see what the coverage would be, but Altieri came in well under the estimate from the insurance company quote.
Departure: They made sure I knew to go slow with the car upon departure until the glass was totally sealed. They knew I would be taking the 6/10 Connector and 95, so they recommended staying at 55mph.
Overall: Great business and friendly staff. I felt that they really cared for their customers and their vehicles. I hope I never crack another wind shield, but if I do, I will definitely go back to Altieri.

I showed up on the date they scheduled my appointment on. When I got there, I was told that I did not have an appointment for that day and I showed up on the wrong day. I am certain I was there on the correct day, I wrote it down when they scheduled it and why would I show up on the wrong day? I have no reason to play that game. They then told me I was wrong but that they could install the new windshield on the day I showed up for an additional charge. At that point I had no choice but to have it done since I had to make arrangements to get a ride to work from a friend. I considered them rude and innattentive. I waited in front of the woman answering the phone and scheduling appointments for over 30 minutes (standing right in front of her by the way) and it was like I was invisible! I feel like they bait and switched me to get more money out of me. I will not use them again. The windshield is in and doesn't leak. That is the only good thing I can say about Altieri Glass. If you want to pay more than the quoted price, wait way to long until someone pays attention to you, and then get told that you are wrong when they tell you you are there on the wrong day, then this is the place for you.

Though my experience was not perfect, I have no problem giving a hearty recommendation.
It took a bit of trial and error for the shop to find the right glass to install - which meant two (maybe three) trips. The issue was, in part, due to a model change year and a confusing model type. (I have a 2000 Saturn Station Wagon. You would think that Saturn would refer to this as an and quot;SWand quot;. You would be wrong. There is a 2000 and quot;SWand quot;, but it is not a station wagon. The station wagon is a and quot;LWand quot;.)
That said, my experience was overwhelmingly positive. The owner (Steve?) seems to love what he does. I spent time during each visit in the tiny waiting room and overhead lots of conversations. Every single time, it was about fixing, helping, finding. Not a single cross word.
Also, when I called to make an appointment, before I had paid a cent, the folks at Altieri told me to come in so that they could vacuum the broken glass from my car and put plastic on the window. I really appreciated that gesture, even though I didn't need to take them up on the offer.
Really please with the experience, overall.

The installer was very prompt, arriving a few minutes before the window of time started. The installation was done well. However, about an hour after it was finished, I drove the car and noticed a small crack on the inside of the windshield on the passenger side. I call the the office, and the owner was very surprised, and said that of course they would replace it, but asked if I would stop by the shop to show him exactly where the crack was. I did, and he was very nice about the whole thing. We made another appointment for about a week later, and the replacement was done on time and professionally. The reason for the crack seemed to be either the extreme heat and humidity of the day, or a problem unloading the windshield glass prior to installation. This company was great to deal with and I recommend them highly.
