Big Daddy Fence

When I first called Bob, I got his voicemail and he was prompt in returning my call. He came out to my house to measure the fence line and show me the different types of fences we could get. Within a few days, as promised, he called me with estimates for the four kinds of fence I wanted prices for. When we made the final choice, he told me when he would start work and arrived on the promised day. His crew worked efficiently and cleaned up after themselves as they went, never leaving any mess for us at all. Because we had to work around a tree, we needed a few more fence lengths than originally planned - we expected this. Bob ordered the new fence and came back to do the work when the needed pieces came in. He did this even though I had already paid him the balance for the majority of the work. This was a tricky job because there were many, many large rocks underground and it took a lot longer than Bob had originally expected. Still, he stuck to his original estimate with the exception of an additional $380 for the fence lengths we had to add on because of the tree work-around. Of the 5 estimates I got before I hired Bob, his was the lowest. All this time, he was professional and courteous as well as very neat and clean. We had been concerned that some of our rhododendrons might be damaged in the install process, but Bob made sure to be careful around these precious plants. The final fence is beautiful - exactly as we wanted and sraight and level except for the part where we had to work around the tree, which still looks wonderful.
