John's Home Improvement (John T Scungio)

John came out to provide a quote to build a deck, provided material options and recommendations. Once I had the quote I worked through financing to do the job, signed the contract and sent a deposit. John repeatedly provided start dates but then delayed them over the next three months, including being on vacation on dates he had given me to start the work. He was also unresponsive to questions I had regarding the plans. He ultimately offered to return the deposit with no work done in August. I accepted because I had no hope left that he would do any work. It took multiple reminders and excuses from him to get my deposit back at the end of December.
