"OMG!, wow it is very sad when you see a customer resort to childness behavior. She tried to attack me on the BBB and they closed the case in my FAVOR!. This particular customer was shown a paver walkway for the front yard and entrance, she specifically said to me that she DID NOT WANT PAVERS!!. She explained how she hated the look, she wanted natural stone like various photos on my website www.jdhomecare.com, she liked this wakway and I had expressed to her that is the type of walkway that is for the backyard or for a area inside a large mulch bed or rock garden... where it is not used that much but the looks are very nice. The downside with natural stone is it's irregular shape and thickness on either side, after agreeing to work we setup a schedule date to do, I had brought samples over to show, expressed to her the pros and cons. The cons are tough to shovel, because it is irregular and has various thickness when you walk on it that it would be a different feel and had recommended pavers again she did not want them at all!. I also explained to her that we would have to install polymetric sand in the joints to help it bound as much as possible, seeing sand would wash out and concrete would break apart every 2-3 years being in new England and stone dust was better but not the answer. Then we had picked up skids of rock which is how they come in, you have to buy a pallet at a time. She got to touch and feel and we even layed down to show her what it would look like, she was adamant about wanted it.. loved the look of it... we proceeded with job and took 2 days to complete from start to finish.. she loved the look and was very happy 2 months later we sealcoated her driveway as well. Now she calls me late winter to express to me that it was tough to shovel and walk on and her husband wanted it fix or redone. I expressed to her that I could take up the walkway and move it to the back and install the pavers like I recommended in the first place or brick being more functional, and that she wouldn't have to pay for the stone because she already has but just the labor to do the back walkway. and the front walkway would be less as well because it is all prepped. it would be the cost of pavers and labor. She said she get back to me, then attacked me on BBB and made all kinds of false accusations of me and Company, in 27 years in business I have NEVER had that kind of complaint!. She wanted the walkway moved for free. and to put in right walkway in the front.?.. OMG!.. so BBB felt as well as customer was totally unreasonable and closed the claim in my FAVOR!. This is a sad attempt from a customer who I gave what she wanted and made sure before installing, but she wanted and was happy, what happened was husband and wife didn't see eye to eye later and caused a major argument. I did try and resolve in all fairness to customer and my company!. I am sorry in 27 years being in business that my customers have to see someone trying to attack me in a manner to SLANDER my company. I wish them well and god bless"

"hi, the customer was given a quote based on man hrs. and a rough range of example 4-8 man hrs. to complete everything was very detailed to customer, and yes the guys did forget a small pc. that they weren't sure of but i sent them back and they did and from that point on it wasn't a problem. i did explain to mrs. about the edging for she had none, and we had to create one first then after that we can maintain with a weedwacker. i guess she was looking for something else and i apologized to her and wished her well."
