This contractor was great. One of the few I have been completely satisfied with. Bill and Bill Jr. did a fantastic job on my roof. What I especially liked about them is that they pointed out various other things that needed repair. They mentioned that my chimney needed some grout and they did the repair themselves at no additional cost. We have a smaller roof on the back where there was no flashing installed. Bill Sr. couldn't believe a roofer would not have installed it there. So they installed new flashing over the entire back which was a difficult job to do after the fact, at no additional cost. They saved this smaller roof for last and it should have taken a couple hours but it took them about six. I should also point out that they hand nail their roofs which is very unusual today. A nail gun can cut in half the time it takes to put in a roof but it can also damage the plywood if not done correctly which is what often happens. Also my new roof was a multi color roof and the Bill installed the colors such that there were more red roofing panels over my red doors. How many roofers would take the time to do that and it was their suggestion, not mine. Since they have completed my roof people have stopped by to remark how much they liked it and to get my opinion on the roofers. You can't go wrong with these guys. I've been in my house over 30 years and there are three or four contractors I have been completely satisfied with. New England Roofing is one of them. I should also point out that this winter for a month or so we had upwards of four feet of snow on our roof. We developed a leak that ran all the way down to our first floor kitchen ceiling. Our bathroom contractor suggested we call Bill at New England Roofing. By eight o'clock that same night Bill and his son were on my roof shoveling. They came back the next day (when it was light) to place rock salt in nylon stockings at various points on my roof to prevent the leaks that had plagued us the day before. They charged us $200 which I thought was a real good price. If you are looking for an honest contractor who does super work, this is who you need to call.
