We have used Gro- Pro Organic Lawn services since the 1980s when we met them at the Home Show. At that time we were impressed that they used materials safe for our kids. Since then they have serviced our lawn expertly! We moved 7 years ago to a home with the lawn that was in trouble. The folks at Gro-Pro worked with us and we are proud of how are yard looks today. We have recently recommended the company to 2 neighbors when they asked who we used - They liked what they saw in our yard --- and so do we!

We find no tick activity on our pets and children while playing in our yard.

Gro-Pro is a pleasure to deal with. My lawn is in horrible shape, so they certainly have their work cut out for them. My only criticism would be that they could provide you with a 24 hour notice before arriving so you can make sure the lawn is cut and things are out of the way. Other than that, they are great. I would highly recommend them.

They are very easy to reach and to talk to. They explained exactly what I was getting and when. and the service is provided timely. Plus I like that they call me the week before to let me know that they will be here the following week. They make recommendations but are never pushy and they give me the cost of each extra service before it is done. I can't wait to get my lawn aerated and overseeded in September. I think I will be very happy come next spring!

The lawn really did poorly in Summer 2015. I tried to keep up the watering during the hot weather. It took multiple telephone calls over 2 or 3 weeks to finally get someone to assess the problem. He detailed what was wrong and blamed it on the big tree growing in the front....which didn't explain why the back yard looked terrible, too. Then I read the contract they sent me to sign up for 2016. It turned out that putting LIME on the lawn, to maintain the proper pH, was an EXTRA COST item which I had never realized. My research indicates that every lawn in the Northeast needs a little lime treatment every year to maintain the proper pH of the soil. I tested my lawn pH with a Soil Testing Kit and then confirmed the results by sending samples to Univ of Massachusetts lab. My soil was very ACID with pH less than 5. Most of the problems with the lawn could be attributed to the low pH....because no LIME had been used for several years. ADDING LIME TO A LAWN IN OUR AREA IS ALMOST AS BASIC AS WATERING, IT IS CHEAP AND IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN PART OF THEIR BASIC LAWN CARE SERVICE....NOT A HIDDEN EXTRA ON THE CONTRACT. Based on the difficulty I had in getting them to evaluate why the lawn was doing so poorly, their incorrect analysis of the problem, and their failure to regularly maintain LIME treatments I terminated their services at the end of 2015 growing season.

We like them a lot. We hired them at least 10 years ago and we've been using their service since. They are somewhat organic. They are very good and they are reliable. They have a website. We had a yardful of dandelions when we moved here and that is what caused us to hire them. They are few and far between now. They often call to say they are coming especially if they are going to put down something that has to be watered. They will call and make sure it is a good time. They are honest and do a good job. One of the guys is very knowledgeable and he always get back to me if I have questions.  They are not so big that I feel like I am a number. We haven't compared their prices. Their prices are probably competitive and they do what they say they are going to do. I wouldn't go to a different company to save a few dollars. They know us and I am loyal. They show up when they are supposed to. They give us a contract in the fall that we have the winter to look over. They give us a discount by paying by January. They also leave a little report card to tell us what we can do.

Gro-Pro is a very professional business.  The staffers are very
courteous, punctual, and responsive.  The price includes multiple visits
each year.  We like the fact that their products are organic.

They are wonderful. The customer service is exceptional. I like the fact that they used natural products because I have a young child. The reason I stay with them is the quality of our lawn. They haul everything away.
