He is very thorough and very knowledgeable. While inspecting the property, he took the time to explain the problems. He called in a specialist to inspect the heating system, and was quick to provide me with the finished report. I would highly recommend him.

Both the sellers and buyers agents were on site for the inspection and he made it very clear with his demeanor that he was working for the buyers and not the agents. He spoke to my wife and I with patience and fielded our multiple questions (and as first time home buyers, we had a lot). Mr Coughlin was very upfront and candid about what we should be aware of in buying an older home and gave us a very thorough report that gave us a clear picture of what work we would need to consider and what the priority was for each. I highly recommend this inspector... and first time home buyers will appreciate the feeling that he is working for you.
