Completely unreliable.

The installation was completed the next day and the following day that I went on a road trip in the van for nine days. On the trip I discovered the radio had virtually no reception. I went back to Sound FX after the trip to see if they could fix the reception issue. They installed antenna booster but it did not improve the reception of the new deck. Some Providence FM stations did not come in clearly in East Providence. There was not one AM station that came in clearly. I discussed the issue with the manager, I was told that this happens sometimes with aftermarket radios. I said I should have been told beforehand that the radio reception quality might not be as good as the factory equipment, especially if they have experienced this problem with aftermarket radios previously. The manager said they would not re-install my factory radio/cd deck, nor would the take back the deck they had installed that does not function as an AM/FM radio. So after spending several hundred dollars to upgrade the audio system, I now have a system that has been significantly downgraded. And the company knew beforehand that this kind of problem could occur because it had happened to some of their customers in the past.
