 + -1 moreHe answered our ad and we met multiple times. He established bid, collected down payment and never did work. We have now found warnings of his name and other scams. He is a felon and has a criminal record for this con. He is a 45 ish yr old "Irish" man with an accent and missing teeth. Robert Creag replies to ads, meets to negotiate a bid for a job, collects a "first payment", and then never shows up to do the work. He cons people under the auspices of being a contractor, auto mechanic, plumber etc. He appears knowledgeable and motivated until he has money but has left a wake of burned "clients". He lives in Mass but often scams RI residents who place ads looking for skilled labor. He has a long criminal record for fraud but we didn't check him out until it was too late.
Description of Work: Scam! Con man! Watch out. This man collects money up front and never performs work! He came to give an estimate on some plumbing work we needed done.
