I ordered a sequined gown to wear at my best friend's son's wedding in Boston from an online company. I tried it on and found that I needed to be a foot taller and an inch wider for it to fit perfectly. I have to say, though, that it was the most beautiful dress and I desperately wanted to wear it. Naturally, I checked Angie's List for seamstresses in my area and found House of Brides. When I called and inquired about alterations, they told me their seamstress was very ill and weren't doing any at this time. They were very nice and did, however, recommend Sewing Creations by Rose in East Greenwich. I called Rose immediately to set up an appointment. She was wonderful on the phone and even more wonderful in person. I tried the dress on, she pinned it all up, even gave me her opinion on how it should fit. I went back today to pick it up. The dress fit perfectly and I looked like I was ready to walk down the red carpet. It was such a pleasure working with her that I will definitely use her services again. By the way, she also does custom window treatments, interior decorating and fashion consulting,
