I will be the person who comes out to quote your home project. You wont have to wonder who is doing the actual job. That would be me also. Some jobs I am working alone and other times with my youngest son who has been with me for 10 years. We don't start a job and leave it until it's completed. I am on time, and work around the home owners schedule. Being a small company I am able to price each job simply by a per day cost and materials. I will use any paint company you prefer or give you my input on products. Either way, the paints and materials could be added to the quote or I buy the paints and show you the receipt and you reimburse me. A painting contractor should not be making a dime on any product he buys for your home. The discounts that I get are directly passed on to you. Always felt that way. Keep It Simple. Nothing else is added unless you add something. At no extra cost I will do my best to help the home owner with color selection and decorating do's and don'ts Call for free advice and estimates. Sam's many years of experience were evident in the organized manner in which he approached the work, but especially in the quality of the results. Sam has done work for me before; he always arrives when he said he would, is mindful of protecting furniture as he works, and in sum, is an absolute gem.

This is the second time I have hired this painter. He painted a living room for me 3 yrs ago. This time he did our bedroom and corridor. He is very good at his job. Punctual, neat, friendly. Offers ideas when asked. I wish I had more rooms to paint. Would definitely hire him again. A pleasure to work with.

Sam returned call my call on the same day . He also gave me a quote over the phone. He came to my parents home to look at the job and stayed with the price he had quoted. He is punctual and professional. Great job would hire him again.

Sam and his son did a wonderful job and our porches look great as a result. They provided a great price for the job and then completed it on time and on budget. They were punctual, pleasant, and reliable. Their communications were clear and professional. I would highly recommend their services. Sam was wonderful to work with, he was timely and considerate of our newly refinished floors. He painted the whole interior house this year and in the past our whole exterior. Already when people have seen the job he has done they have asked for his number!

Sam did a wonderful job painting our family room with beadboard cathedral ceiling and walls. He came within a day or so of me calling him to give us a price and then fit his schedule around ours. He was prompt to the minute each day, meticulous and gave us great advice on final color selection. The finished job is just great, I can't say enough how happy we are that we hired Sam. I loved hiring an individual, knowing exactly who would arrive to do the work, instead of hiring a company with teams of painters. We would definitely hire Sam again.

Well. Overall good job, and Sam did extra work, for which I was thankful. I did afterwards discover a few small spots he missed and some small paint spots on the floor, which I took care of. He later pointed out he would've taken care of these if I'd asked.

Sam (Messina) walked me around the house and pointed out that the front will have to be taken down to bare wood in many places. Additionally, he pointed out some areas of rot that would need to be prepared or filled. His estimate was very reasonable given I had a number of estimates that did not include the degree of pre work that Mr. Messina detailed that was needed. Result? I feel I have a new home! Pewter Gray body with white trim, black shutters, and a burgundy door. I have received a number of compliments from my neighbors!

Sam is so easy to work with and responsive. I needed my house exterior painted. It had been last stained in 1998 and there were many places where the stain was chipping. He washed, sanded and painted the whole house, trim, front door and railings. I cannot say enough. Sam is very detail-oriented and the house looks AMAZING! And everything was neatly done, no mess of my yard anywhere. Sam works alone so the job may take a few more days than if there were a larger paint crew. But he works fast and the quality is so worth it. I will definitely hire Sam for any future projects and recommend him wholeheartedly.

He was excellent. Responded within hours of my e-mail asking for his services. Came within 24 hrs. to give me an estimate for the job. We needed the job quickly to accommodate a delivery of new furniture. He gave us a date he could start and when he would finish. He was always on time. In fact even a little earlier than stated. He was very friendly, neat and professional. Started the job when he said he would and finished on time. Would most definitely hire him again, and have already given his business cards to some other people who are looking for a painter.

The finished project made the 50 year old house look new again. Sam also painted the deck railings and base which gave it a finished and cohesive look. We were happy with his work, from start to finish. Sam is professional, friendly and does a great job. We are hoping to hire him again for interior painting.

It went great! House exterior was a mess due to not having it painted in years and also the terrible winter a few years ago started to bubble the paint. The house looks great. Sam was professional and extremely pleasant to work with. He helped us decide where to paint the trim color (in 50 years we never had a trim color!). He also painted the deck rails and it all ties together nicely now. We will be hiring him to do some interior work this winter! :)
