I always leave feeling calm and secure because of his knowledge base. Dr. Viccione was voted one of "Rhode Island's Best 100 Doctors" and is a fabulous internist. He is also a warm human being, which is the frosting on the cake. I would recommend him to anyone who feels like a number at his/her current physician's office and/or who rots in the waiting room because of poor time management on the part of the physician. Your experience with Dr. Viccione will be a breath of fresh air!

He is always very energetic and on the spot. He always addresses my health concerns. Scheduling an appointment is great. If he can not get to me, I can see an assistant. He is very accessible.

I've only been to one session so far but was very pleased.

I only go once a year for checkup.  His bedside manner is great and he is great to work with.  If he is adjusting something like an x-ray or a test and we don't want it, he will just talk to us about it.  He doesn't force us to do anything we don't want to do unless it is an emergency but I'm not gone to that yet.  He explains things very well.  He's a great doctor.  He's very compassionate and very smart.  I just could not say enough good about him because he's a very good doctor.  I like that he works with his patients and he doesn't just dictate.  If we don't want medicine and we just tell him that we'll work it out our own with exercise before we are put on any medication, he will let us do it and he monitors it.  We don't have to go and see him but we will have to have blood tests.  He's just very good and very competent.  He has a physician assistant and I think in his practice he's got enough people in the office so when we go in, we can see the physician assistant and she's very nice too.  As far as availability they are very available, may be not him personally but his office will see if we have a problem.  His office is very nice and very clean.  He also has a lab there for blood work which is nice.  He's very punctual; we very seldom have to wait more than three minutes for him.  He has an office full of patients and I don't know how he does it but there is never any long wait and there is probably another doctor in with him.  His staff makes us feel very comfortable.

day of my appointI had a regurlarly scheduled appointment for a checkup and after waiting 1 hour after my appointment was scheduled for I finally was called in. After my height and weight were checked, I was led to a room to wait for the doctor. After 20 minuted he finally came in and started my exam. He checked my heart rate (after they had already given me a cardiogram! Big $$$ from the insurance company!!!), breathing and prostate. During the rest of the time he tapped away on his laptop. I had a couple of skin questions to which he refered me to a skin doctor in his office (all of the possible medical services take place in his office). On the day of my appointment for the skin doctor, I arrived 10 minutes late due to traffic. I was informed that they could NOT take me due to me being late!!!!!I am currently looking for another doctor.
