This man did a shoddy job building our deck. It was not built to code, no building permit was issued as contractor never applied for it. Deck was completed with substandard workmanship and deceptive practices, including purchase of tools for his personal use and materials for other jobs. Cement footing does not support stringers. No pre-drilling, use of common nails, not galvanized, wood is split, cracked, deck is wobbly, workers trampled on and scratched newly finished wood floors. There was also no removal of debris. He promised to come back and fix everything, we called a number of times, but he never showed up to fix it. We are now taking him to small claims court, but are having trouble finding his address. There are three other court cases against him.
