Bentley, Taylor-East Providence, RI We went to Home Advisors to research roofing and specifically metal roofing. After doing our research, we found we were in a hurricane zone and working with an older home in this area. We had specific roofing needs which had to be addressed. Our search left us with two companies to contact. One of the companies was NESCOR. We chose NESCOR because it was listed with the BBB and their website gave an outline of the specific process and procedures for the installation. Our NESCOR representative came to the house with a presentation giving us valuable information about their roofing process and outlined clearly the benefits and made comparisons of other roofing processes. We are dealing with a much older home and needed a restoration process that could give us a good value and return on our investment. The NESCOR financial program made the project very, affordable to fit any budget and worth our while. We re happy we trusted NESCOR Roofing for the project, they were professional, thorough and cleaned the property after finishing the construction of three surfaces of the house and a garage

I had a leak on my roof, they promised to fix the leak and roof, they suggested a new roof, I still have a leak AFTER they put a new roof on. They left the leak even though did the new roof. They will not follow through on fixing the problem.

Redid the roof. Did new decking in the back and joists. Roof looks great. Customer service, terrible! Dumpster arrived when job was done. It sat in my driveway for over a week. Broke the railing on the deck. They said they would repair it but never did. The Port-a-potty never came. In July, five people, nine hours and no toilet. Twenty two sheets of plywood sat in my driveway for nine days after the job was done. Called them four times. Nescor spent at least three minutes picking up nails. I'm still finding them.

Poor communication among office personnel. The construction contact I called didn't return my calls for days. I was getting very frustrated. As it turns out she was on jury duty. If they told me I would have just waited for her return, I've been on jury duty you have no control. I got a metal roof it is very expensive. Time will tell if it is worth the money. It does look very nice and adds to the value of my house.

We had severe water damage due to ice dams, which were were ASSURED would not happen. Three years in a row. We have had to insulate where Nestor failed to do so or even address the problem.

Replaced our 60+ year old basement windows. Our old ones were drafty. We always worried about pipes freezing in the basement. New windows look wonderful. New or did an excellent job

Communication was not the greatest but worked performed was excellent.

ROOF/GUTTERS: Our situation was getting pretty dire, old shingles lying in the front yard, water spots making a pattern on the ceiling, prairie growing in some old gutters we couldn't get to...let me tell you this company really saved us! They gave a detailed sales presentation with product samples. We purchased a metal roof that looks like typical shingles and a covered gutter system. A crew installed the roof in around 6 hours (single level small house). The next day another crew installed the gutters in a few hours. Why we chose Nescor: 1) they were able to schedule the job quickly, before the next rain storm, ha ha! 2) the roof material promises to be leak-free, maintenance-free, and worry-free. 3) the gutters were included in the bid and also promise to be maintenance-free. 4) Nescor has its own crews of employees to do the job rather than having to coordinate and depend on sub-contractors. Why we would choose them again: 1) The new roof and gutters look wonderful! Good clean solid installation! 2) THEY SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. They were actually early. 3) The crew respected our wishes to protect some plants growing near the house. 4) The crew supervisor came out and talked with us, then continued to respond to my texts even after the work was done. Special considerations: Our situation was difficult but not unique I'm sure. I had spent a year basically struggling to know what to do to get this roof work done. I was afraid to expose an elderly parent to risks from strangers or unknown contractors. If you are in my boat, I feel safe in recommending Nescor to you. This company addressed every one of our concerns and solved more problems than we expected! Our other bids were for asphalt shingles/no gutters, so I can't really say anything pricewise except this job was worth every penny -- money well spent for the peace of mind we are feeling right now!

Chris knocked on my door and introduced me to NESCOR. Sandy came to speak with me about the gutter shield. Cindy helped me over the phone. Adam and Pat did the installation. The entire process was smooth and quick, everyone was very professional and courteous, and the gutter shield looks great! I believe this product is well-designed by thoughtful people, and I have confidence it will prevent rain water/snow/ice from damaging my house. The folks at NESCOR also assured me that if I have any issues they'll be happy to come back and resolve them. I recommend talking with them if you're thinking of how to better protect your house and you're curious about the gutter shield.

The roof is beautiful and less expensive than I imagined. Looks exactly like standard fiberglass but with a better quality. The work crew was excellent.

Friendly prompt service. Only took a day

The finished product was amazing. Impressed with technology but little pricey. Only drawback is salesman told us they work on Saturdays which we thought was great. When it came down to scheduling were informed they really don't. Don't make promises you can't keep. Overall GREAT!

Reasonably priced

Nescor is a very good local company,they did a great job, fast work . they pealed & put new roof on in one day. pricing though is steep, they worked extremely hard in trying to sell me a metal roof @ double the cost.
