 + 3 moreI seem to have put part one and two together in all my reviews. All the jobs Ted has done for us, from redoing two bathrooms, redoing a basement after a flood, and redoing a wall around a chimney that was leaking(all our redos were due to water damage and Ted is sure the mold is gone before he puts things back together), were done completely and done well. He understands how things work and will explain things to you if you want to know. He does work mostly by himself, so sometimes there can be a long wait time before he gets to work for you, if he has other projects pending. When he says he will be there, he is quite punctual.
Description of Work: Ted is now working on remodeling a downstairs bathroom for us. He completed a remodel on our upstairs bathroom last year. Ted is the general contractor, and brings in an electrician, plumber or painter as needed. He does all the carpentry work, demolition, tiling, etc., I have several friends who have used him, which is how I found out about him. He is not cheap(you get what you pay for), but his work is done well and always up to code. We have had no significant problems with any work he has done for us(which you can't say about alot of remodelers), and the previous bathroom looks great and we love it. Any small items(a grout seam that needed fixing), he repaired at no charge. He is a really nice guy and can help with any project no matter how large or small, if his schedule allows. Ted is a power lifter, so can handle most things that need to be moved, by himself. I have seen him do everything from jackhammering cement to tiling floors, to going from bare studs to a finished room. He can also do finished carpentry work. He is also very honest and I have no qualms leaving him alone in our home.
