I called 2 times prior to today’s visit and they came the next day. Each day there were 2 men on the job. I clearly had/have a Freon leak and it was explained to me I would have to have my walls opened in order to find the line set. Today’s visit, I clearly explained over the phone the job that needed to be done. They 2 prior visits they could not find the leak in the normal places. I was advised it was $250/hour. I agreed. I just wanted my leak fixed. ONE guy shows up, different than the other 4 that had showed up. Says it’s too hard to find the leak. Fills my freon back up and says call us in the spring and we can replace your air handler.

Got everything running again, tested. They were prompt courteous, just felt expensive.

On all of the jobs, they were very professional. Statewide seems to stand by any work that they do, which is so important. If there was something that they needed to amend, they were on it right away. When my mop sink in the basement was stained with rust water after a flush, and they sent someone out immediately in order to clean it up. Now it looks spotless. (Ajax powder along with a brillo or the tough part of a common sponge work wonders apparently!) Thank you, Statewide!

Statewide Plumbing & Heating did a great job.  It was a crew of 2 people, and they worked hard through the task of fixing a leaky bathroom faucet and then installing a microwave over my range in the kitchen.  For the leaky faucet, the hot side shut-off valve had to be replaced in addition to rebuilding the faucet with new hot & cold cartridge stems, gaskets, & springs.  For the microwave, the crew took down my existing over-the-range hood, then created an outlet with the electrical wiring to plug the microwave into, then installed the brackets for the microwave, then put the microwave in place.  The entire job took about 4 hours.

I have used Statewide Plumbing & Heating in the past to install a hot water heater and to install a new gas range as well.  I would use them again.

We were very impressed with this company from beginning to end. A pipe in the basement began leaking through a dropped ceiling one evening. It was an emergency as the leak was severe. We first called two companies who claimed to have and quot;24 hourand quot; emergency service, and both said they could not come out until the morning. We then called Statewide, who came within an hour.
The plumber found the leak (having to break through the dropped ceiling, which we gave him permission to do since it was ruined anyway), and pointed out that almost all of our cold and hot water pipes were corroded and needed replacing - not only those under that ceiling but the exposed ones in the rest of the basement. (A few were copper and had been replaced, but the rest were original.) We believed him because he could show us exactly where the corrosion points on each of them were; they were original brass pipes from the 1940's, and indeed another plumber had pointed this problem out to us years ago and we simply ignored it. The estimate they gave us for replacing all of these pipes was considerably less than the estimate we had gotten several years ago (they were able to replace them with a new plastic material,costing a lot less than copper). They were careful not to replace the copper ones which were newer; only the very old ones.
They came exactly when they said they would, stuck to their exact estimate, and - while they had told us it might take and quot;most of the dayand quot; - they were finished by early afternoon. They were very professional, and cleaned up beautifully after their work.
Rarely have we had such a satisfactory experience for a major plumbing issue, and we would certainly use them again.

I found them to be way too expensive. We would not use them again.

I think the company does terrific work, they are on time and when you call for a price they respond immediately. When it comes to work outside of plumbing, excavating, etc. make sure all issues are discussed. I was not happy with the final outcome of my conversation with the company about the top fill issue.

i needed a new thermo coupler on my boiler. i had used statewide previously for a water heater and was satisfied to so i called them again. the person who showed up was prompt, professional and worked quickly and efficiently. when i got the bill (had not gotten an estimate), the charge seemed significantly more than what i was expecting. i called a few other firms and the quotes were significantly less. i called them back asking for clarification on the rate and shortly thereafter received a call from one of the owners, i believe. he stated that he spoke with the technician who had thought it was appropriate to charge for travel. the owner told me he had told the technician that it was an inappropriate charge and i received a check for the extra charge a few days later. i thought they did good work but i don't want to have to chase down a company over cost. i want an appropriate charge from the beginning. i guess i should have gotten an estimate first.....

They told us they would be there in approximately two hours, which was true. The gentleman that came was very professional and did his work and left in one hour and we had hot water. Statewide Plumbing and Heating did the job they said they were going to do and did it professionally and in a short period of time. Thank you Statewide Plumbing and Heating.

A representative answered the phone immediately and connected me to someone who took my information and scheduled an appointment for the same day. The technician called from the road and said he would arrive in a half hour, and he was early. He got right to work. He concluded that my drywell was full, without having any complete evidence. He snaked the drain (after advising me that it probably would not help). The kitchen drain runs much better, but the washing machine standpipe still overflows. This gentleman was very pleasant and tried to answer my questions about connecting to sewers, which I will be doing this year. He was not able to provide any short-term solutions.

The service went very well. The office called to tell me that the guys were on their way. They arrived on time. Not only did they check and clean my A/C system, but they also checked the heat and boiler and gave me some advice on future maintenance.

They arrived on time and identified the problem quickly. They had to find the parts. They left and returned within 2 hours and quickly completed the job. They showed the old parts to me. The problem was fixed.

I lost heat in the upstairs zone of the house. Based on their reviews in Angie's List I called them and the person that answered the phone was knowledgeable and courteous. The weather was blizzard like but they arrived within 15 minutes of the time estimated by the person that answered the phone. They quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty zone head and replaced it. The heat was back within an hour of their arrival. The price was reasonable and the people were professional and pleasant.

Ooops - did that already in the above box. DO call this company. I will never call anyone else again. Even though it was an emergency call, the price was the same as another company gave me for a repair last year. The worker also found a leak from my ice-maker that was slowing causing wet-wood problems and fixed that.

They showed up right on time and did not waste any time getting started.

They came and gave us estimates, were prompt in completing the work once we ordered it, and did a great job.
