Reddy Piping Concepts did the above work for me on 8/29/14 and I discovered 2 things were missing from my home after the workers left. I thought the workers may have taken the items unintentionally. I spoke to Dennis Reddy, the owner, who said he would look into it and get back to me. He didn't contact me for several days but it turned out he had a medical emergency. When he did contact me he made every effort to take care of my concerns.
Dennis and his crew are timely, professional and fair.
After they installed the shower plumbing, we had problems with the mix in the shower and asked them to come out to adjust it. It took several days to get them here and they showed up unannounced (what would they have done if I were not here?). They came (same guy) but he could not figure out how to open the fixture and correct it, even though his folks installed it - and this guy was the supervisor!. Our GC finally came over that evening and quickly adjusted it.
They would show up unannounced. They would not return emails, texts or calls to our GC for extended periods of time.
And now, 8 months later, a pipe in the finished basement (that they had soldered for the new pipes they installed ) sprung a leak which I discovered when I went downstairs last evening. Ceiling tiles were ruined and collapsed onto the carpet, soaked. We had to turn off the water to the house to stop this and contacted our GC. He tried to reach Mr. Reddy and finally heard back from him 12 hours later. It was explained the urgency of the issue and he said he would get in touch with me today but it has been 4 hours without so much as a call. I understand this is unexpected but I would expect some level of contact to indicate when they would be here.
The workers were all pleasant but I would never use them again.
My current problem is that in June 2012, I was advised by another plumber that the boiler was not even wired to the outside sensor that was installed by the technician to the outside wall of my home (and being attached to that sensor was the reason this boiler is supposed to be much more efficient). Dennis Reddy came out to inspect it in June 2012 and said that the boiler was never connected to the sensor - and admitted that for some reason, the technician never wired it that way at all. Even though Dennis Reddy sold me the boiler saying it was created to be wired to the outside sensor to provide the greatest efficiency - that did not happen.
Mr. Reddy promised to rewire the boiler and then never did. I have called him many times, sent him texts and while he did have a date scheduled for the repair, he canceled and now will not answer my calls or respond to my texts.
