PERFECT TOUCH INTERIORS

Where should I start?  Perfect Touch has been under new ownership since the fall of 2012.  We have had a miserable experience with the new owner.  She took over half way through our project, after we had placed deposits on some very large orders.  We paid a premium thinking we were hiring a talented designer and getting premium service.  We ended up with neither.  Once they had our money we were at their mercy.  We were told that we were being assigned to a new designer to finish our project.  A different person showed up at our house each time, and they began to argue about the dimensions or finishes of various items, delaying progress.  If you called to speak to one person, they were not available and you had to start all over with a new person. Most of our items took much longer than promised.  Several items arrived with the wrong dimensions and it took multiple phone calls and visits to resolve.  Before one item arrived, I was told that the price would be several hundred dollars more than I agreed to pay, despite a printed invoice.  Finally, wIth our project mostly finished, and after we spent almost six figures with them, they told us that they didn't have time to help us chose lamps, accessories or throw pillows and that those items didn't net them much of a profit.  I was begging them to please just finish my project.  Finally, I couldn't take any more aggravation, and I fired them.  I spent a lot of money and my house looks a mess. Their prices are very high.  They mark things up significantly more than other retailers and tell you that you are paying for their service, which would be fine if the service was at all decent, but it is not.  They act as if they are doing you a favor by taking your money. It ended up being a nightmare. Beware. They will be nice to you until they get your money.
