I was told the first cleaning would be a deep cleaning that would likely take 7 hours (or 3 & 1/2 hours for 2 cleaners). I said I doubted it would take anywhere near that much time as our house is pretty clean already. The representative said the charge would be less if it took less time. I agreed to pay $155.00 for the deep cleaning of 5 rooms of my house. The two cleaners finished the job in 45 minutes and then told me the charge was $180.00. I said I was quoted 155.00 or less. They called the office and were first told the charge was 180.00 They then looked up my file and agreed to the charge of 155.00. Even though it didn't take anywhere near the 3 and a half hours, I paid the 155.00 just to be done with this, in my opinion, very dishonest
company. A few days later, I cancelled any future cleanings with the company and was informed by a very rude and threatening email that my credit card would be charged an additional 55.00 since I had received a discounted promotional rate on the original cleaning based on continuing cleanings. I was never informed that this was a discounted promtional rate during the original phone call nor was I informed of any penalty fee if I did not continue with future cleanings. Needless to say, I will never pay this additional $55.00.
I would never recommend this company and would caution anyone to be very, very careful when dealing with them.
"(member name removed) originally signed up for our promotional offer of $25 off the 1st, 3rd, &5th cleanings for “new clients that sign up for recurring service”. He was also provided the hourly cleaning rate based upon “recurring bi-weekly service”, rather than the One Time Cleaning Hourly Rate which is higher. To be clear, the promotion that we run clearly states that it is only available to “new clients” that sign up for “recurring service” not a one time cleaning and not to individuals that terminate service prior to the end of the promotional period. This is clearly outlined and relayed to ALL new clients when they are on-boarded, so that there is never ay confusion or misunderstanding. To be noted further, (member name removed) was not canceling service because of the quality of the cleaning he simply decided that he no longer wanted to receive service. To that end, because (member name removed) chose to terminate the original “bi-weekly” service prior to the end of the 5th cleaning he did not qualify for the $25 off the 1st, 3rd, & 5th cleaning promotion, and because he chose to terminate service following a one time cleaning, he was further responsible for the One Time Cleaning Hourly Rate rather than Bi-Weekly Cleaning Rate."
