Three strong men showed up, on time. Assessed the large bedroom set to be moved, then got to work. Within 20 minutes, furniture was in truck. One hour later, my late Mom's bedroom set was in my house, the bill was paid, and they were on their way. It had been more than 40 years since I last hired a mover and the experience was not good. Today's furniture moving experience was easy, painless, and reasonable in price. I highly recommend the Hogan Movers.

Recently, and after receiving estimates from multiple moving companies, we selected Hogan Movers for our local relocation. From our first communication to the last, we were impressed with the excellent service and follow-up provided by both Ann Ysenbart (owner) and Gerry Santilli, business office. The day of our move, we were delighted by the prompt (arrived 10 minutes early) and professional service delivered by our move team headed by Rick and assisted by Mike and John. The guys were personable, polite, courteous, and an absolute pleasure to work with. They even willingly agreed to help us relocate an existing large piece of furniture already on the premises. We would absolutely use Hogan Movers in the future and recommend them highly to anyone seeking to hire a moving company in the Rhode Island/southern Massachusetts area. Well done, folks! Hogan's office was a pleasure to deal with.   My message was promptly returned and Don was able to quickly get me a quote.  The moving date changed to sooner due to closing issues with the house we were purchasing but that was no obstacle for Don and his crew.
His crew are full time employees - not day laborers hired for the day just to complete a job.  He had full workers comp insurance and there was insurance for any damage as well.  His crew also has background checks done.  Let's face it - someone moving you will know what you have and where it is.   I never felt that there was ever any danger with Hogan's crew.   In talking to them, they have been with the company for years.  That in itself says a lot about the company.
There were three guys but they did the work of six.  They never  stopped!  I had to beg them to stop for lunch.   They said they didn't want me to be paying for them to eat (hourly is part of the job cost) but I insisted.
They wrapped all of the furniture and moved it very carefully. We had four bedrooms of furniture plus living, dining , family room and two decades of accumulated things to move.  They took care of it all without issue.   There was only one minor issue with the entire move and that was that a screw came out of a hinge on the back of one of the pieces of furniture.  They took care of it with no issue.    It took two big trucks for them to accomplish the move.
As someone who moved furniture  for a furniture store when in college, i could tell these guys knew exactly what they were doing.  The old joke is that "Furniture movers make it fit".  They new the angles and had the tools to do a great job.  When they had a question, instead of trying to wing it and risk damaging something, they asked the crew chief (Richie) for guidance.   It all worked out.  They didn't just move our furniture, they placed it, set it up and made sure we were happy with where it was before leaving.  They treated everything as the were moving their mom's stuff!
They were great.  If I ever move again, my first call for moving services is to Hogan Movers.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Hogan Movers. Ann was a delight to talk with and understands the stress involved with moving! On the moving day the two men arrived on time and started right away. They were very polite and efficient. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

It went great. They were on time and started loading within minutes. They took great care not to damage the houses on either end, which is more than I can say for the previous movers we used. They even helped us move a grill from the garage to the patio around the back of the house and down a level.

They arrived on time. Moved everything quickly including heavy furniture. They had to move everything from the third floor and did it quickly and easily. The minimum time was 2 hours and that's all they took!

It started great with the lady on the phone. The movers were professional and on time. Great with the elderly.

Hogan Movers were on time and friendly.  They got the job done in record time.  They have done quality work for meevery time I have hired them.  I would highly recommend them to anyone else looking for a moving company.

The men arrived on time and ready to work. It was a good experience even if I hate moving. The guys were pros, kept me calm.
