He's really good! He replaced all of the mechanisms. He's very prompt. The work took maybe an hour and a half. He explained how to use the new equipment.

Everything went fine.

It's always refreshing when someone doesn't try to sell you something you don't need. My garage door wasn't closing and I wasn't sure what needed to be fixed. He took a look at it and made a quick adjustment to the tension that fixed the problem, and did it for NO CHARGE. He also showed up right on time. Very nice gentleman. I would definitely use Edgewood Door again.

The owner's name is Bill and he at first gave me a quick quote for a couple of options over the phone based on my description of what I needed.  He told me if I wanted he could come by and check everything to be sure.   I told him that was alright, but after getiing higher prices from 2 other providers on Angie's List, I called him and asked him to come out to be sure the price was accurate.  
The following day he arrived as scheduled and checked everything out.  He actually disagreed with an assessment by another provider that a custom door (and more expensive) was needed, based on his 30+ years experience installing garage doors.  He offered non-insulated and insulated doors as options.  He preferred insulated doors because of their solid structure and dent-resistance but I was hesitant on spending the extra money on insulated doors for a detached garage with no heat.
He offered me a great deal on the insulated doors (two-sided steel) because he felt I would be happier with them long-term and he offered to put in a keypad and lock release at additonal no charge.  We agreed with a handshake,  He said he would be by 3 days later and the job would be done by 1pm, and said I could leave the check with someone if I wasn't home.  Three days later he arrived as scheduled and the job was done by noon.  I wasn't home so he took the time to demonstrate how the openers work to my brother-in-law.
He also hauled away the old wooden doors.  The doors work perfectly and quietly with apparent attention to detail.  I got a higher quality door than the two other quotes I received, for a lot less money.  I really recommend Edgewood Door Company.

First Bill came right over and gave looked over the job, talked with me about what I wanted and gave me an estimate on the spot.  He was the least expensive of the 3 quotes I got.  I called him back a couple of days later and set up a time for the job.  On the day of the job Bill came on time and did a great job. I was able to add on the opener on the day of the job while he was there.  He was professional, worked hard and cleaned up after he was done.  He showed me how the opener worked and made sure I was happy.  The doors look great and work perfectly.
