Economy Movers & Storage, Inc. is a full-service company specializing in commercial and residential as well as Piano Moving throughout New England. We also offer labor only assistance to load or unload your moving truck or container, or simply moving furniture around your home in preparation for a remodel project. If you are looking for a local mover for your residential or commercial move ranging from one piece to an entire corporate office, we are a great option! We are fully licensed and insured with a staff of expertly trained, courteous, professionals. We are a family owned and operated business. We keep it simple. Everything went pleasantly well. Cheryl was very prompt in returning my messages and answering all my questions. Rates were very reasonable with no hidden fees. The team was made up of veteran movers who didn't need much direction. They were very efficient in getting the job done. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Easy and professional from beginning to end. Cheryl in the office is responsive, clear and efficient at making arrangements. The three men who did the move came right on time and were fast, careful, clearly experienced and very nice. It was the easiest move ever!

Came off like clockwork. Great crew, with a very positive attitude. We paid for a minimum contract (3 hours) for each of the two days. They finished the work within the time frame with no problem.

Things went well. A few glitches on both of our parts, but nothing that is a deal breaker. The staff at the office and the folks doing the actual moving were great, which helps during a stressful situation.

My initial interaction with Cheryl was great she was friendly, polite and responsive and the estimate she provided was right on point. The price was very reasonable and I was happy with it. My movers Jason, Ron & Ryan were prompt, courteous, efficient, helpful, professional and genuinely nice guys. It was about a million degrees that day, and they never slowed down. They even helped me with where to put the furniture in my new apartment, and their suggestions were awesome. Like many others, I was very stressed about moving, but the actual move was seamless. I plan on moving again in the near future, and I will DEFINITELY use this company! Thanks Again!

I was lucky enough to have 3 awesome movers (Jason, Frank, & Jeremy) who showed up on time and were in great moods! They were able to navigate my boxes and furniture from my second floor apartment down a windy staircase and managed to do it all without a scratch! I can not stress how quickly but efficiently they worked. They then had to bring in my contents into an already furnished house, which is not an easy ordeal. They also did this with great care and were super fast. I only had to pay the minimum moving fee and I couldn't be more pleased with how absolutely genuinely nice these guys were. Thanks for making my moving not a nightmare! :)

We scheduled our move a few weeks in advance. It was nice that when the day of the move was forecast to be snowy (and we were moving from our old house on a steep hill), Cheryl could reschedule us for the day after we had first set up. The team of Frank, Jeremy and Derrick showed up right on time. They wasted no time moving furniture and the piano from all 3 floors of our house. They were careful to wrap things in blankets before moving them so neither our stuff or the house was damaged. At our new place they quickly figured out how to move everything to where we asked them. They did a great job for a very reasonable price. We would definitely use them again.

It was a great experience, though since we packed ourselves it was a challenge. They showed up on time, the crew of seven was great, and we felt comfortable and happy with the service. We were very impressed with how strong and focused everyone was.

"We understand your concerns and appreciate your feedback. However, I feel some clarification is necessary here. Before we were hired to move your baby grand piano, a price was quoted based on travel and the time necessary to complete this piano move. That price never changed as you were charged exactly what was quoted. We did receive a call from another party who was actually the party who hired us ([Member name removed]). She called me to talk about her concerns which consisted of the fence not being put back into place and the issue with the leg on the piano. Nothing else was ever mentioned. I personally spoke with [Member name removed] and feel that I was nothing but gracious and empathetic and logged our conversation which was forwarded to the president of Economy Movers who handles any damage claims. [Member name removed] told me she already had an appointment scheduled with a piano technician and would have her look at the leg and I agreed. A return call was made to [Member name removed], but there was no answer, we left a voicemail which we never received a call back. A few days later, I was contacted by the piano technician who made the repair which was a minor issue with the lyre post being separated from the top support. There was no issue with the sustain pedal. We paid the technician directly for that repair. The fence was never removed by our staff so it was not replaced by our staff. There was no furniture rearranged to move this piano into your home nor was there ever mention of this by [Member name removed]. We sincerely apologize our staff using your bathroom and we are handling this with our employees. We are happy to talk to you if there is anything else you would like addressed or known to us."

They were very professional, careful, polite and experienced. All the furniture was moved carefully and cheerfuly. The piano removal was a challenge - they needed to remove window panes and use a crane to lift it down from the second floor on a tight city street. It all went very smoothly.
They were 2 hours later than the latest time in the original estimate. But they called and let me know, and mentioned the reasons why ( a longdistance driveway and elevator delays) and once they were there, they were very efficient
The crane for the piano was expensive.The driver was competent and resourceful and careful. They were upfront with me with the cost - $450 an hour.
I would definitely use them again. Moving my piano has always been expensive, especially to the 2nd floor of an old house with narrow stairways and no driveway.
