Gary is a very nice guy, He repaired my drawer in my kitchen cabinet. He had to find the parts to repair it he did a great job . I am very happy with it. I had a hard time finding someone to fix it, because it was a small job. Great price too.

Gary was first to respond to my request. He is professional and courteous. His painters showed up as scheduled and worked efficiently. They also cleaned up properly. Gary stopped by to inspect the work as they finished up.

Albeit it was a tough project, but there were lots of cosmetic issues left behind (paint runs and splatter, missing finish coat, paint finish that looks like contaminates got into the paint causing bumps). I gave them an opportunity to correct - still left some issues. Gary was great - offered to send guys back to complete. Will update after that happens.

When Gary, the owner, came to my home to do an estimate he came across as professional and knowledgeable, however that was under the guise of a salesman. Unfortunately I didn't read all his reviews until after I hired him. He was to drywall a hallway and small bedroom. The fact that they showed up late every day is not an issue compared to the shoddy work and lack of professionalism to keep a clean work environment. I fired him after the third day. It was apparent that he couldn't complete the job in the 3-5 day timeline he quoted or do a quality job. I now need to either find another contractor or my husband has to do it. Either way the flooring contractors need to be rescheduled. Most of the drywall that DPS installed needs to be removed and reinstalled. I'm just angry at myself that when I fired him I said I would let him keep the deposit, which was a third of the cost...where I should be suing for a full refund.

Gary was always in communication with us, snowstorms could have been a great excuse for them to fall way behind, but they got the job done and got it done well.

Everything from start to finish was on point. Gary was on time and always communicated which is rare with GC’s. I would recommend DPS to anyone looking for a professional contractor that does what they say they are going to do.

We had a very small window of time to get a substantial portion of our home painted. We called Gary and he got the job done. The interior looks beautiful and we would recommend Gary highly.

I had a very unpleasant experience with another contractor who removed a large three-section medicine cabinet in my bathroom and left my home with giant holes in the walls and un-repaired. DPS Contractors stepped in, gave me a reasonable estimate and completed a very professional job. DPS Contractors and their team were very pleasant to work with and they even cleaned up the area where worked after the job was completed. Yes indeed, not only would I recommend this company, but I would hire them back should I have another need in the future.

my only issue was I wanted a "skim coat" which to me is a very thin layer of plaster, Gary used joint compound which is no where close to being as hard. I later checked around and its not unusual to use joint compound, so I only blame myself for not asking. The work they did was excellent and they cleaned up after they were done - and plaster dust makes a mess.

They were very good at communicating what we wanted and how they recommended tackling our issues. I would use them again without any hesitation.

Gary and his team were professional. Extremely customer centric. Any future work I have, I will look for this company. Very impressed, we'll deserving of my business.

prompt, efficient, neat and reasonable price

Gary was great, highly recommended! Most professional out of the six companies that gave us estimates. The only company that sent the estimate by email and included his insurance info. The other companies gave estimates on the spot without reviewing the space that was to be worked on. Gary spent his time doing the estimate, took about 1/2 an hour and explained exactly what needed to be done. We were told the job would take two weeks and it was completed on time. His team was great; on time every day and finished up around the same time every day (no surprises). His workers made sure they cleaned up daily before leaving and they were both very polite. Gary was not the lowest priced estimate but there was no doubt that the job would be done the right way! A Five star rating

quick and efficient

Very professional, courteous, prompt and eager to please. Extremely particular when prepping area. Would have rated higher but I don't believe that that painting is his forte. Did a good job but there were many roller marks on cabinets that were pointed out by my realtor. Would hire again for other jobs but not cabinet painting.
