Erik came to give a quote for our driveway. He was very responsive and they came to do the job like they said they would. However, one week after the job, there were areas all over the driveway that were in need of repair. Erik assured me that this was normal and it happens every time and they come at the end of the season to do touchups. Well, it’s been over a year and I am still waiting for the touchups. I have called the company eleven times throughout the year and every time I am told they will be coming before the end of the season. Four seasons have passed and I have yet to hear from anybody about coming to do these touchups. I have never once received a callback. The only time I get information is when I call and somebody answers the phone. I am told every single time that somebody will get back to me and they don’t. We live in downtown Mystic and many of my neighbors had asked if I recommend this company to do their driveway. I absolutely would not recommend this company.

Beausoleil & Sons recently repaved our driveway and we couldn’t be happier with our interactions with them and with the way it looks. We shopped around and got a couple of quotes for the work and they were $2000 less expensive than the other company and yet the job they did was excellent. They were timely, came with an experienced crew to prep the site, and the owners were the ones that did the actual paving. Great price and great quality—what could be better?!

Beausoleil & Sons, Inc. came out right away to assess the damage and give me a price for the repair. Unfortunately, they stated that there was a minimum charge of $1000.00 for a house call for this type of repair (due to the one-time cost of bringing all their heavy equipment to the site.) They said they would do the job when next they were doing other work in the neighborhood. When two weeks passed with no word back or contact, I called to ask the status of the job. The owner told me he would get right on it and they came a few days later and did a great job. I suspect that this small job had fallen through the cracks, but my status call and discussion with the boss quickly rectified the situation and brought speed repair action.

Seemed very knowledgeable & explained how to correct some drainage issues we were having, replaced a large section of driveway. Very professional & cleanup was good.

The estimate process was great.  He listened to our plans to widen the driveway and offered great suggestions.
The owner and son were here the whole time.  The crew were professional and they all worked well together.  There were a lot of steps to the process yet It was surprising how fast it all came together.
We are very happy with our driveway and the work they did.  Snowblowing it this past winter  was a breeze.

The installation went fine.  However, we later discovered that they had filled the 5 foot tall sewer cleanout pipe in the driveway   with hardened asphalt while installing the macadam and it plugged up the sewer pipe, causing a backup into the house.  Another contractor who was called in found that the cleanout would have to be replaced.
 Numerous attempts were made to phone Beausoleil about this problem, with no response.  I did leave extensive messages.  Finally, Lee Beausoeil did leave me a message saying he had driven by the house but didn?t see any problem, which is
surprising because there was a large hole in the driveway and the removed cleanout pipe was beside it.  I finally spoke to him on March 11, and he refused to accept responsibility.  He said he would come out the next day to see it, but never did.  He never called back again, and didn?t return any of my calls.  DeJesus Driveways (Swansea, MA) repared the hole in the driveway after Scott Corp. came to install a new cleanout pipe.  Both companies did an excellent job.  
I sent a registered letter to Beausoleil with photos and a detailed description, but they refused to accept the letter from the U.S. Post Office deliverer.  Consequently, I am out the $2,550 repair fee.  This company is totally unprofessional and should not be used by anyone.

Henry was fantastic to work with. He was very receptive to our desires for our new driveway. He was easy to work with. He works very hard and we were very impressed with his company.

We had estimates from 3 contractors, and their's was tied for lowest bid. We chose them based on other ratings in Angie's List. After we hired them, they said they had about a 3 week backlog of orders. In about 3 weeks they called to schedule with about 2 day's notice, but we were going to be away so we postponed the job. Finally a few weeks later, we called again and they scheduled for the coming Monday. They arrived on time and did a great-looking job. They were mostly careful, but they did damage a couple of shrubs. They cleaned up nicely after they were done. A few days later we had a heavy rain, and we noticed that the water was flowing to one side of the driveway up to our raised lawn. We called to have them look at the situation. Lee said he'd come back sometime before winter and put in a small bump at the edge to direct the water away from the lawn. As of a month later, they haven't yet come back. I'm still hoping they will before I have to give them another call. In general though, I'm pretty much satisfied with the job they did.

I called Beausoleil because on the good reviews on Angie's List. They were professional and responsive when I called. Lee came out and gave me an estimate on replacing my broken concrete driveway and continuing it further up the side of the house, where we were had been parking on dirt. This is a small area with the house on one side and a retaining wall on the other that separates us from our neighbor, just wide enough to park one car. He was pleasant and the price was reasonable. When I called to say we'd like them to do the work he gave me a date estimate, a few weeks away. They came out when he had said they would. The crew and equipment appeared professional. I wasn't able to watch them in action, but they finished the job in one morning. I came home to a driveway that looked better than I could have imagined. It was perfectly smooth, the edges are perfectly straight lines, not a speck of asphalt on the sidewalk, in my yard or the neighbor's yard. They even neatened up the concrete pavers in the retaining wall. The plants on the edges of the driveway appeared pristine and untouched. I was amazed at how perfect looking it was, especially considering what a tight space they were working in. I was also pleased that we were treated well even though it was clearly a very small job for them and I don't have a fancy house in a fancy neighborhood. My husband was afraid it was too good to be true: a contractor that came on time AND did a great job!

The workers, twin brothers, and their crew have it down to a science. They came when they said they would, were friendly, and respectful of our requests and concerns.

THIS COMPANY IS A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER COMPANIES BUT THEY DO EXCELLENT WORK. THEY DID THE JOB TO MY SATISFACTION. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
