We received a detailed inspection report and were initially happy with the pool inspection. No major problems or anticipated repairs were indicated. However, within a few weeks of the inspection our pool pump had to be repaired, and the next year our liner ripped open across the shallow end. The tear was at least 7 ft long! On our inspection report our liner was noted as being in fair condition despite being completely bleached out. Upon farther investigation we found out our pool liner was 17 years old! I emailed the owner of the company expressing our dissatisfaction and requested that his company install the new liner for us at his normal rate minus the cost of the inspection--which proved to be useless! My e-mail was completely ignored.
Response from ATLANTIS POOL SERVICE
"[Member Name Removed]- I'm sorry you were disappointed with the inspection report. We do our best to try and accurately evaluate the pool when we do an inspection and foresee any issues down the road, but ultimately the report is a reflection of the pool that specific day. I've gone back and looked at your report from 2013 and we put on both the motor and the liner that they were "fair" (not good) and would likely require replacement int the next few years. We put down estimated costs for those two items and listed it as "F" for future work for that reason. The only lower designation for an item in our report is "poor" which we only use if an item has failed. If the motor wasn't working or the liner was ripped at the inspection we would've given them that lowest designation. Regarding the liner failure and a quote to replace it, I wasn't ever aware of a request for that coming in. However, liner replacement isn't a service that we provide, so if you called looking for a liner replacement it is possible that it slipped through the cracks. Once again, I'm sorry that you ran into problems with your pool. We really make a sincere effort to try and predict how things will fair over time, but the 2 hours on site for the inspection really just offer us a snapshot of the current condition of the pool. Thanks- Bryan"

I was under contract to purchase a home and was told by my home inspector that I ought to have a pool technician come out to inspect the pool and hot tub.  Unfortunately, I was on a very tight timeline and only had a couple of days to get this done.
I called Atlantis and spoke to Laura.  She was polite and friendly, took my information and gave me a quote for the work.  She stated that she needed to check with the technicians about their availability on such short notice said she would call me back.  In less than 10 minutes, she called me back with an appointment time scheduled for the following morning and stated that either Brian or Weston would be there to conduct the inspection.
When I arrived at the home, Brian and Weston were BOTH there (along with another tech) and had already begun the work.  They worked very quickly and were unbelievably thorough inspecting the pool.
Here are some of the things they checked:
Liner, Liner Track, Coping, Skimmer Box,  Weir, Basket, and Lid, Main Drain Lid, Return Faceplates and Nozzles, Pool Return Lines, Stair Return Lines, Skimmer Lines, Main Drain Lines, Pump Body, Basket, and Motor, Filter and Filter Valve, Pressure Gauge, Heater, etc.
They even checked the fencing around the pool area and the electrical wiring that supports the pool equipment.
They also provided a data sheet giving me all the particular details on the pool for reference later on.
Once we move into the house - we will be calling Brian back for a 'Pool 101' class where he will show us in detail how to properly maintain and care for our new pool and hot tub.
All around we received great service and would use them again.

I called at 10am because my underground lines were clogged with leaves from improperly vacuuming the pool and Brian took the job (during busy season!) and had it done by 2pm. The girl I spoke with initially was very nice and kept in touch with me through the day regarding prices and time frames. Brian called me when the work was done and explained what the issue was, how he fixed it and what to do to prevent it from happening again (my husband was using the wrong piece to vacuum the leaves with). He set up the vacuum with the correct piece that was in the garage the whole time and tried to explain to me how to use it. I told him I'm not good with pools but he told me to have my husband call him if there are any more questions. All in all this was a wonderful (and quick!!) experience and I saved Atlantis Pool to my phone for future pool work. My husband has worked for 15+ years at another local pool company and in the future I will be calling Atlantis instead - that should say a lot for this company. Thanks guys!!

Bryan is honest; and checked out our pool to see if it truly needed to be painted. He ended up saving us $2,700 and recommended just an acid wash. Will definitely be using Atlantis Pool Service for the opening and closing of our pools!

This is one honest company. I had had two other pool guys out to find the leak in my pool system and they both wanted to dig up the whole back yard and find the leak underground and their prices were around $5000. I called Atlantis for one more estimate before I had the work done and he told me it was a simple problem that I could fix myself above ground at the skimmer. I did what he told me and lo and behold the pool is fine. They saved me a lot of money and are a company with integrity. I highly recommend them.
