Beginning first as a lawn care service company (lawn fertilization and related offerings), our services have expanded to now include tree & shrub care (insect and disease control); complete tree services; comprehensive pest control; full service commercial property landscape management; as well as Christmas and holiday lighting. My yard is totally destroyed. They came and did 11 services, charged me $700 and got a lawyer after i told them i wouldn't pay . This is a complete rip off. Now I have to make payments for destroying my lawn

In 2 out of 3 years they burnt my lawn due to misapplication by the technicians. Year one they were very good, this year and the year prior it was awful. The issue is very young, unskilled, poorly trained applicators. They show up looking like they just woke up, no uniform at all, no grooming, etc. On two occasions I had a guy is basketball shorts and sneakers. The company aerated & seeded my yard at no cost both times. Unfortunately it throws off the service schedule because you cannot do weed control with new grass. My lawn started looking worse. This fall they did such a bad job seeding that I gave up. I voiced my issues to supervisors on several occasions. They simply hire warm body seasonal workers and this is what you get. Back to DIY because this is way too aggravating. Hire another company because this one obviously has management issues.

Bottom line, my apologies that you have not been satisfied with our service. We take all reviews from our clients seriously, especially those alleging that we burnt their lawn. I have not personally seen your lawn so I can not confirm nor deny whether it was in fact burnt due to a misapplication. It is irrelevant at this point however as we agreed to reseed your lawn regardless of the cause at no cost. As for our employees, I can assure you that all of our employees are more than warm seasonal bodies. We have a very elaborate training program and all of our employees are issued uniformed apparel. Shorts are allowed to be worn during some services (aeration/seeding for example) if pesticide applications are not being made due to the hot summer weather we are working in. The age of our employees range from younger to older and ALL meet the minimum age requirement set forth by the DOL. Seascape keeps you informed of when they will be there and are on time. They provide additional applications between the normal applications to help with excessive bug and weed control if needed. They also provide tips on what you need to do as a homeowner to keep it looking good. My lawn looks good, and is getting even better every week.

They didn't cut back to property line the first time. The supervisor agreed with me and they came back and fixed it but it took almost 2 weeks. I wanted a branch that was close to the patio included in the quote but they didn't think it was included in their quote. Since I couldn't be there when they came to do the estimate, I didn't pursue it further.

This week one of the technicians came out to do our lawn. My husband was working from home and noticed that he only did my side and front yards and not my backyard. Our backyard is locked but the company has our lock combos. When my husband called to report this, he was met by the receptionist accusing my husband of being wrong then said "fine we will send someone out in two weeks" No apology was issued. I will be finishing out my contract (I prepaid) and be looking for another company.

For the entire season, they charge close to a thousand dollars, between $900 and $1,000. They are great. They come at regular intervals and put down the different applications that the lawn needs. So, we never have to call or anything. It is just an automatic service that they do. Truthfully, I have not had much contact with them because sometimes I am not even here when it happens. I am usually not here or even if I am here, sometimes, I do not even know they have been outside. They leave something in my mailbox. What stands out about them is that they are just very reliable and they do the service that we need. I never had a problem. We did, at one point, have some tree service with them and that was great, but that was not a recent thing.
