Perfect. Although we did have to reschedule once because of the blizzard (obviously not their fault), they were prompt nonetheless. The job was done perfectly. They replaced the spring and even adjusted the entire door assembly and mechanism, so that now I can't even hear the door open and close. They were terrific and I would definitely call again.

I needed springs for a garage door fast so called one of the national companies, they dispatched someone that day, but they charged me $400 for springs, and put the wrong weight on, so the door kept flying open. And they didn't put safety cables in. It was the stupidest contractor move I've made in decades, I must've been sleeping that day. Flash forward forward a few weeks, I call RI Garage Door Repair, he comes out in 48 hrs, takes down the old springs, puts up correctly weighted ones, with the safety cables, puts springs on the other door too, and braces the other door because it had some wood rot at bottom. All for $175. And he cleans up perfectly. I cannot recommend RI Garage Door Repair enough.

Tim was great! When I called to make an appointment, he gave me a rough estimate of the job over the phone. I called on a Friday afternoon and we made an appointment for Monday morning. Monday, he showed up right on time. He looked over the job (replacing springs and pulleys) and gave me a price less than the original estimate--not what one typically expects. He worked quickly and efficiently. I was also very pleasantly surprised that his work comes with a warranty of 1 year on parts and 60 days on service. One more very satisfied customer!

I cannot even begin to say how positive my experience was with Tim, Owner/President at RI Garage Door Repair. I have called his  company twice in the past several months. The first time was as a result of a vehicle driving through our garage door :). The door was completely damaged and needed to be replaced. Tim came out that day and assessed what needed to be done and gave me an estimate. He needed to order the door, so he returned in several weeks to replace it. His quote was quite reasonable and other than the high cost of the door itself which had nothing to do with him, the labor was low cost. He was very friendly, professional, and prompt. I felt like I knew him and trusted him right away.
The second time I called RI Garage Door was for a repair to a broken cable/extension on the other garage door which would no longer open.  Tim again came out the day I called him. He gave me a cost to repair the door with the same materials from the manufacturer or he suggested a better way that was more durable.  I went with his suggestion. The door was fixed within 15 minutes and again, the parts and labor cost were very reasonable.
I would recommend RI Garage Door Repair to anyone in need of a garage door repair. Tim is very knowledgable, professional and gets the job done.  I definitely did not expect to use his company twice within such a short time, but when our second issue occurred, I had no worry about who to call to get the job done.
