The man arrived in about 30 minutes and clearly knew what he was doing. He tracked the problem down in fairly short order. There was some dirt in the nozzle so the fire was not bright enough to keep the photocell happy. If the photocell thinks it doesn't see a fire, it stops the oil from pumping for obvious reasons. He commented that I had an older style oil filter on my tank and we should change to a newer better style at this summer's cleaning. I will take that advice, of course. After replacing the nozzle, he commented that the boiler was rumbling and louder than it should be. He adjusted the air intake and it smoothed right out. Now it runs great and I am pleased. I didn't comment on the cost because I have no experience to compare it to. $120 for an emergency call plus a $12 nozzle seems fine to me.

Excellent. Very nice. Explained everything. My daughter-in-law bought a new house. The family was worried if the oil fired boiler was in good running condition. He did a nice job explaining that it had new parts on it. It is so nice to find excellent workmanship.

I was a new customer at the time. Called to have service contract and annual cleaning. He discovered a problem, details escape me now, but he fixed it quickly and efficiently. Even though the time required was more than he planned for, he did it right away. Very professional and kind.
Furnaces being in top running condition is paramount for safety. These people are true, skilled professionals. I feel very safe tucking my granddaughter into bed on her visits, knowing we are safe.

Arrived on time, performed the cleaning, very polite, neat and cleaned up after.

While performing routine burner cleaning technician found some parts needed to be replaced and told us the motor was getting old and may need to be replaced in the near future. (We had told him that on occasion there had been some noise in the motor.) He told us a new motor would cost $150.00 if we needed to replace it. During the next week there was a problem with the burner coming on. Technician returned promptly and changed some of the settings. A few days later the burner did not come on again. The owner of the company came out this time and checked everything and determined that the motor should be replaced.
